I'm super bummed to hear Sigur Ros is out. They were pretty much my make or break artist for this year. There will have to be some really high quality acts in my book to get me out for a day or two now. Hopefully they tour or do a festival circuit next year after their new album comes out.

Andrew Bird is out. I'm really excited for The War on Drugs. That album has been growing on me a lot. i saw them at Deluna Fest back in October - those guys really are impressive.

Ok. No one is going to be happy with this but I feel like no one will pay any attention if I ask if anywhere else. This will be the first Sasquatch that I will be able to attend and I have camping issues. I was fine with free camping but my friends mom wasn't. She was worried that it was too crazy. So we looked into Wildhorse Campgrounds. Anyone know if those are somewhat calmer than the others? Wildhorse:General Camping::Beverly Hills:Compton

Sigur Rois will be touring with Bin Iver in the fall, don't worry.

So after this lineup is announced, do tickets go on sale right away?

So after this lineup is announced, do tickets go on sale right away? Yup. And expect them to be sold out in a few days. They go quicker every year.

I'm not putting too much stock in these emails. I appreciate the effort and all that, but I'll remain skeptical until official announcement is made.
The ones on the Sasquatch site I'll believe, but if I was getting emails asking about unreleased and possibly contractually restricted tour dates that I'm privy to, I'd be keeping my mouth shut. If they say "you should go Northwest" then great. That band will probably be there, but if they're saying things like "no festivals booked" or anything like that, then it's entirely likely that they're just following the rules and not breaching contracts.
Still holding out hope for Sigur Ros.

Yeah I was just gonna post that they make people wait 9 days after the lineup drops to buy tickets. I'm glad I snagged a 4-day pass back in December because it's probably going to sell out within a week.

Still holding out hope for Sigur Ros. Yeah I've definitely thought that. I'm hoping more for confirmations than denials, because the denials could still end up on the lineup if the agent just doesn't want to say. Some of the denials are personalized where the person spent time with a response and telling me other tour dates they have or stuff like that. Others are just a simple no or "won't be playing" so those could go either way. I figure it's at least worth a shot, and don't trust any of the info completely. I still think most of what I've heard back is the truth though. Again with Sigur Ros, that was just what someone posted on the Roo boards, so I don't know the tenor of the email. They are a trusted poster though. Just to recap, I've had these bands confirmed from agents. I know a couple were rumored before by you guys, but this seems like pretty good confirmation meow. Not much, but it's cool to know, and none of these were on the website leak: Wild Flag Clap Your Hands Say Yeah The War on Drugs Crap, I thought I'd found out more haha. I've been Youtubing new bands this morning. Getting more and more excited for this year. Already bought my ticket too, thankfully.

It's appreciated for sure. I think we're all grateful that rumours and confirmations are starting to trickle (or flood) in now.
Anybody saying or implying that they'll be there will most likely be there, because they have absolutely nothing to gain faking you out like that.

I'd say we have a pretty solid list of bands going on here. I can't wait till Thursday to hear the full lineup. I'm still confused about tickets though. On Thursday or on the 11th?

Maybe you should get your friend's mom to explain it to you. She seems to have a pretty good grasp of all things Sasquatch.
