This is what I should have done last year. I hated the lineup announcement last year more than anything. I was obliterated with overwhelming depression upon its initial release.
Thankfully I held in there, dug into the lineup and found what many others did - a fucking incredible mid/undercard. I never realized it until recently but in all my years attending Sasquatch I'm usually only excited by 1 headliner every year.

I am assuming they allowed the undercard to slip, and will be releasing the bigger acts as scheduled. Those bigger acts will probably be the deciding point for me to go. Otherwise I will plan on saving the money and going to a different summer festival. It is looking decent so far. Like misterl, the highlight of the leek for me is the EDM acts. While they are good, so far they are not spend $600 on tickets, and travel to the Gorge good for me. I will definitely have to see more out of Monday and Friday before I pay for a 4 day pass.

Ok. No one is going to be happy with this but I feel like no one will pay any attention if I ask if anywhere else. This will be the first Sasquatch that I will be able to attend and I have camping issues. I was fine with free camping but my friends mom wasn't. She was worried that it was too crazy. So we looked into Wildhorse Campgrounds. Anyone know if those are somewhat calmer than the others?

I'm just emailing people I'm personally interested in, but I do already have emails out to Bon Iver and Pretty Lights. You rock dude, I'm loving your fake baby style. Any personal interested in Bjork?

It is a little easier to get into the showers. They provide a bus to and from the show. I heard there are a lot of pregnant women there though.

Soo it's not as sketchy and stuff? I haven't been to general camping for about a decade. The security there got very ridiculous in the early 2000's. From what I hear meow it is pretty much party all day and night. Wildhorse may grant you a little more down time. They try to organize people accordingly. They ask you if you are there to party, and if you are they put you in the back. If not, you are put closer to the front. That's the way is was the couple of times I have been there. There is actually a thread for this if you go look for it. Under Camping/Lodging.

Well I don't know if people will actually find them. I haven't been here long and don't know how kept up on these threads are.

i saw Future Islands last night in Athens at the 40 Watt's little brother 'the Caledonia Lounge'. I stood next to the bassist in the line for the men's room. He said, yes 'we will be playing a few stateside festivals this year' - but wouldn't specifically state if either Sasquatch or Bonnaroo were among them. I meant to ask them the other night, but they were such sweethearts, I didn't wanna sell 'em out.

I'll talk shit about Wild Horse all day long, but honestly, jiggypants, if you're looking for a safe and relatively calm place to camp I would definitely choose that if I were you. I've heard nothing but amazing things about it and everyone that stays there seems to be extremely satisfied with their experience. You can read up on people's testimonials here: www.wildhorsecampground.com/testimonials.html

Sorry for the subject change. We can go back to rumors now.

Man, just give me the leaked bands and Built to Spill, and honestly, that should be enough for me.

Andrew Bird is out.
I'm really excited for The War on Drugs. That album has been growing on me a lot.
