I wasn't trying to be rude, and I didn't say anything that should have offended anyone. Considering the other thread was started about 40 minutes before my post, it's an understandable mistake. Just admit you were wrong for being a dick and I'll keep being respectful to everyone that deserves it.
And you don't have to edit my posts to make me seem foolish.

I was not wrong for being a dick. Being a dick is kind of my job description.
Again, if you had spent any time familiarizing yourself with the board you would know this.

And what are you talking about now? Nobody edited your posts. I was pretty sure you typed now on purpose.

And assuming I haven't lurked the forums for the past 2+ years is a pretty silly mistake too. I checked yesterday, didn't see anything about it, saw the updated site today and posted the information where I last saw people talking about it. Just trying to be relevant. You guys are so unwelcoming to "new" people even though I've been pretty level headed considering your mod's terribly rude response to someone I think he otherwise would've gotten along with.
I understand being like that to someone who comes in a thread without knowing what has been talked about there, and posting that they want Radiohead and Daft Punk to play this year. But to someone like me with correct grammar and punctuation (edit: and on topic with recent conversation in the thread), it seems a bit harsh.

Oh relax. You are a 'noob'. Do you realize that to hassle noobs is just the thing that is done? Have you ever been on the internet before?
I appreciate your correct punctuation and syntax -- seriously, I do. Many of our veteran posters can't even be bothered with that. But the Maine Stage has been mentioned MANY times, and if I'm not mistaken has already been mentioned in this thread.
Round these parts, we all give each other shit all the time. New folks have to be exposed to it right away, because if they're going to bitch out about it we prefer it happen in their first five posts and not after we've gotten used to them.
That's like the official Sasquatch board welcome wagon. Be flattered that we are treating you just the same as we would anyone else.
Welcome to the board, etc. etc. Don't let shit like that get to you, for reals. It's all part of the fun.

The Maine stage had been talked about for about two weeks. It is a forum dedicated mostly to Sasquatch. You don't think anyone has noticed the Maine Stage yet?
For the record, I think we mostly like new people as long as they are nothing like you.

Don't let RoRo's inflated post count fool you -- she's still a noob, too.

It's like a bunch of siblings picking at each other, each hoping to get the last piece of pie. The question is: who gets it?

The question is: who gets it? I don't get it. Your analogy, I mean.

It was poorly constructed and inaccurate. But to answer your question: Know and HG usually share it.

Or Weezy and George Jefferson, of course.

So the analogy doesn't make a lick of sense, I'm still glad I got the answer to the question.
