And for the Radiohead rumor, bullshit. I only believe Radiohead for Coachella because it makes sense - I don't believe anyone that actually knows anything has told anyone anything.
Pea, are you willing to keep the OP up to date with real rumors/confirmations? Like right now it would read:
Rumors Radiohead - Seattle DJ said so. Sounds like bullshit.

Funny thing is, a rumor is a rumor. What exacty is a "Fleet Foxes drew confirmation?"

That would be a rumor. It would go in the shit rumor category. It would be cool to have all of those, even the shit ones, in one place, that's all I meant.

Honestly, I probably should have thought about that before making this thread. Since I won't be at next year's festival I honestly won't have the motivation to keep this thread consistantly updated. Is there anyone who would be interested in that responsibility and is there a way to allow someone else to keep a first post updated? I wouldn't mind if another thread was started if that's the best option.

Not really a rumor but I'd say there's a good chance that "Foster The Should Shrugging People" would make an appearance considering how damn popular they are now...I'll be making sure *not* to go where they're playing.
Edit: My bad for not putting it in the "Reasonable Suggestions" thread.

I would have seen it if it weren't an insult to my intelligence.

I would have seen it if the line didnt take FOREVER on the first day. I fear that the major bands that tour next year(Radiohead, RHCP) will warrant their own Gorge show. If I recall Soundgarden played the Gorge like a month after Sasquatch? God for fucking lame.

That Soundgarden show was one of the best shows I've ever been to. So good.

It's sad when you realize how much easier it is to have fun at the Gorge when you're there for something besides Sasquatch.

At the Tool show I did but I think that had alot to do with that show, the crowd, the enhancers, and the 23 friends that drove with me from North Dakota.

I fear that the major bands that tour next year(Radiohead, RHCP) will warrant their own Gorge show. I was thinking the same thing. Radiohead at the Gorge would be epic. The up side to that would be that they would be able to play a full headlining set. My only fear is that they will tour this summer and end up at White River. That Soundgarden show was one of the best shows I've ever been to. So good. That show was amazing. It kind of sucked they had such a killer lineup, but all the other bands had such short sets. That could have been a mini festival. What really pissed me off though was that the gates opened at 4:30 and show started at 6:30.

It's just that when you're at the Gorge to see a particular show you're surrounded by your kind of people and not overwhelmed by -- sorry kids -- kids. Also there's probably going to be a third as many people and security will generally be a little more chill.
I'm not saying I don't have fun at Sasquatch -- it's my favorite goddam weekend of the year, and I have MORE fun there than I do anywhere else. I'm just sayin', like I said, it's easier to have fun if you're there for something else.

First confirmed act of 2012: The Flaming Lips will play their six hour song "Found A Star On The Ground" along with other choice songs, which will be realized with 1.5 hours of music and 5 hours of worthless and depressing antics. Cheers.
