Don't quit your day job kid. i couldn't Dr. Garbanzoure out what would be the best response for the wonk. i had considered removing your posts from this thread and only your posts... but i wasn't sure how long it'd take for you to catch that. instead, i went with an off-topic yet hilarious proclamation. Win-win!

Have you thought that Beirut is on twice because maybe Beirut is doing a DJ set. ;D

I like Mumford and Sons. Getting irritating now, mind you, but I have always enjoyed folk music or folk-tinged music. Marcus Mumford's voice is pretty irritating now though. Enjoyed them at Sasq 2010, until the 17 year old girls from Oregon I had talked to before they came on started doing coke off their keys and I was like WHAAAAAAT!?
Gayngs were amazing live. Best part was the sun looking blood red too (they even brought it up during the set). NPR did a solid and recorded their set. They even sound half-decent on that soundboard recording. Highlight? Har Mar Superstar doing George Michael's "Teacher" in a white poncho and sunglasses.

That "Teacher" cover was really really great. They were such cool people, too. Before their set (I think before Sam Roberts came on?) I was sitting in the grass with my girlfriend and a few other friends and my girlfriend got a picture with their drummer (whom she miraculously recognized). They were just checking out the shows, havin' a good time. After their set, during whoever was on late-night, their main vocalist was standing behind me, so I shook his hand and told them they were fantastic. He was appreciative and sounded pretty excited to be there.

Mumford & Sons are out. They'll be in the netherlands. Thank god. Thank god is right! They aren't bad but they need to come out with new music before I see them again. The question still remains, who will be sub-headlining this year? I'm pretty indifferent to their music but it's nice to know that the fest won't be wasting whatever excessive amount of money it must cost to book those guys.

Every single one of you (sans HG) fucking loved Mumford & Sons until it became cool to hate them so just shut up all of you. EDIT: And if you say you always hated them then you're fucking lying so don't try it. Agreed I liked them until they became very popular, It the indie hipster in all of us, but I did catch them at Coachella while waiting for The two AC's, and It seemed like a headlining gig, they had the crowd engaged and they put on quite a show. They should of probably subbed be for arcade fire and Animal Collective would have been better suited in one of the tents( no reflection on the AC), I just though the visuals would have been suited for a smaller stage.

I am hoping that Deadmau5 and Skrillex are both left out tomorrow at the release. I saw them both last summer and was bored by Deadmau5 and annoying by Skrillex. I liked both artists prior to seeing them, but for the amount of money itll cost to book them, I really hope they arent at Sasquatch.

I still like Mumford, they're talented guys and at least are making catchy songs that aren't produced on synthesizers and macbooks.

I'm calling bullshit on axing Ghostland Observatory as part of Sasquatch. They're playing both Wakarusa and Electric Forest, I think there is a definite chance they will be at Sas this year.
