Glad I'm not 'covering' the launch party this year. The stress and grief last year from this board alone almost put me off journalism for good. Although it was fun to break DFA1979 and watch the madness ensue. Good luck this year folks.

I remember sitting in the club, with laptop out, about two minutes before reveal, then some guys tweets me the entire lineup and I wanted to throw my computer down in disgust. But it wasn't a total loss as that whole DFA thing wasn't on The End's release. So the trip from Vancouver was still worth it...

Don't pull that "you guys almost put me off of journalism" bullshit on us.
