Someone should tell whoever runs the Gorge info email that they are wrong, because it's definitely being released on/around the 5th. Not late February. That's stupid.

I'm ready to move on from all of this and get back to taking musical suggestions from this board while trying to repair any reputation I might have had on this board prior to the shitfest that is this thread.

Bassnectar played both last year. If bands can get from Spain to the Gorge last year in the same weekend, they can certainly get from the Gorge to Arkansas in a week. I really don't think this has any impact on the lineup for Sasquatch. ALTHOUGH PRETTY EFFIN LIGHTS!!!!!!!!

Just seems slightly unreasonable to me, but true I forgot about Bassnectar. And I was so sure Pretty Lights would be a late night set. Ugh

If anything I think it increases some of their chances. Wouldn't shock me if Pretty Lights, Ed Sharpe and the Sheepdogs all make the trip. I really like the chances of Pretty Lights now actually. And Primus could easily play both. I like Golgo Bordello on summer camp too. I could see them playing both.

Oh God Sharpe. And what is with the Sheepdogs? Heard the story but never had time for the album. Thoughts?

Jay what do you think the chances are of Bin Iver playing Sasquatch?

The story is they won a contest to be the first indy band on the cover of the Rolling Stone, and they have 3 albums. I saw them open for Black Joe Lewis a while ago and they were pretty solid. Lacked a bit of stage presence but they could jam and sounded fantastic. Their big hit would be 'I Don't Know'. I would embed it but I'm at work and youtube is blocked.

I still say Bin Iver aren't even on most people's radar.

What don't you like about Bin Iver, Jay? I've never heard their music so I can't really speak to it.

It will bring the kids. The great thing about my age is that I get the inside scoop on all the little hipsters and who they want. Bon Iver is 3rd behind Mumford and Deadmau5

This isn't super sexy but it's something. The Wooden Sky is skipping Seattle in April. Also going for them: they're Canadian and the Windish Agency does their booking; and Windish typically sends a bunch of their artists to Sasquatch. Tour listings and free track at ifidontcomehome.com/.

Who do you think will make the trip from Primavera this year? There's usually a little mid-tier overlap, yeah?
