Apparently the password is Squamish.
They thought really hard about that one.

Wow. That's even worse than the password "Doolittle" for the presale for the Pixies' Doolittle tour tickets.

Pretty underwhelming lineup. liveatsquamish.com/lineup Tragically Hip, City and Colour (his popularity continues to astound me), Chromeo, Sheepdogs, Mother Mother, Lights, Wintersleep, The RAA, Beats Antique, Airborn Toxic Event. Early tickets are only $129 which is pretty solid for a 3 day festival. I'll still be there, but I was hoping for more.

I might end up going. I plan on doing a camping road trip with a friend this summer and this would be a good final destination
Plus I love current swell live.

Ew, Tragically Hip. Eh, there's a couple bands on there I would like to see but I don't know if I'm going to go. It's pretty pricey once you factor in camping and I'm probably still going to be paying off Osheaga at that point.

They were great at the release party, so was the Matinee, I was pretty impressed.
It's a great fest and they will add to the lineup, so I'm not that bummed out. Last years lineup was just fantastic so my expectations were probably too high.

The presale code I got from the peak radio station says that earlybird tickets are only $109. I haven't tried using it yet, but if there's a chance to save more, I'm gonna give it a try over the other codes.
Code = "peak"

Maybe! I'm not too big on the entire lineup, but you know I can't turn down a festival and a Chromeo set. They'll probably have new songs to play by then, too

Really? I saw them two years ago and I was bored to death. Also, they didn't play Orca.

I haven't seen them in a while. They were really good when I saw them with Portugal. The Man but I guess that must have been 3-4 years ago

Yeah pretty weak lineup, but after seeing the pic of the location I can't say I would turn it down if I had the time, money, and a passport.
I know you Canadians get to see them all the time, but I really want to see Mother Mother!

If that were in Calgary I would totally go, but Squamish is too far. I would love if X-fest was close to that. I think I have seen all of those bands multiple times.
Wintersleep are awesome live. Same with Pack A.D. And of course CHRO-ME-OOOOOOOOO.
There were a bunch of dj's there last right? Assuming there will be adds?

There will be lots of adds, last year at this point they only released something like 8 acts and then slowly filled out the lineup. If there isn't a decent DJ playing against City and Colour I will be quite choked.

FYI to anyone considering this tickets go up by $20 at the end of the month.
I ended up doing the VIP camping with a few friends because being next to the festival makes it so that you basically don't have to buy any beer or food in the fest if you don't want to, and you don't need to carry a bag, You can literally walk back to your camp and shotgun 2 beers before you got to the front of the beer line. It's spendy as hell ($350, 3 people, 4 nights = about 30/person/night) but I figured it was worth it, plus a few of my friends already bought tickets for there.
If anyone ends up going that route you are more than welcome to hang out with us. Kymess can vouch for our awesomeness.

I'm still on the fence about it this year solely because of the cost of camping. It just feels like a huge jump in price and I'd definitley want to do the VIP camping after having experienced being able to stroll back and forth last year.
Davers, how fast do you think the camping/VIP camping are going to sell out?
