Got mine too, but didn't get camping because my work computer seems to have caught on that I spend a lot of time on ticketmaster. Hopefully camping lasts until I get home.

What type of camping are you planning on doing this year? glamping again? Yeah I'll be glamping again. It's stupid expensive but I'm far too lazy to work out how to get to and from an offsite hotel or campground. Sounds like we'll have at least 6 of us in there (C mo, Mrs C mo, Iyad, Amanda, cara and I) so we can probably run the same scam as last year if you want.

How far is the regular camping from the festival?

Last year it was directly beside the festival. You literally go through one gate and you are in the festival. Regular camping was in the parking lot of the previous year's festival, so it was mostly dirt and not much grass and they pack you in pretty tight. As far as getting to and from the fest glamping and regular camping are both right beside the fest.
They say they expanded camping this year, so there is a chance that they got more land down the road or whatever. Could end up being a lot nicer than last years camping, but could also end up a bit further away.

And how easy would camping be to sneak in to?

If you're just coming to visit, pretty damn easy. Last year fox came for a beer and he literally just waved his wristband arm at the guy and walked right in (he didn't have a glamping wristband). Sneaking in a tent or something to sleep in will probably be all but impossible. Last year ky stayed with us for a couple nights by doing the old movie trick where someone brings out an extra wristband.

You were wanting to do a hotel. Wtf is wrong with you?

Its not that I want to do a hotel. I just can't afford another $100 for camping at the moment and camping will sell out, so I reserved a hotel. I can't really afford the ticket either right meow, but it just makes sense since early bird is so much cheaper.

Ticket acquired!! Turned out my giftcard was in my wallet. I didn't get any camping/glamping yet, hopefully I can add that to my order later or buy it separately.

I will be there again this year, ordered the Glamping as well. Looking forward to the relaxation of last year! I am hoping they will open camping a day earlier, like last year.

I heard the camping is in the same area, it looked like a refugee camp last year. Definitely worth the $50 for the added space and grass. We may try for the campsite prize this year, wasn't a ton of competition last year and could be fun.

It's nice, but tough to justify the cost. 2 years ago it was just the only on site camping there was, so I bought it. Last year, the regular camping was supposed to be further away so I bought Glamping just because I wanted to be on site. They ended up putting regular camping in the old parking lot because some more land got cleared for a bmx park or something so they had more parking. Now I'm just doing it because all my friends are doing it. The comparison is probably pretty close to premier vs regular at Sasquatch. You get more space (lots more), flush toilets, a private entrance (last year regular camping got that too, they probably will this year), free parking, free showers, that's pretty much it. They haven't said for sure if regular will be on site this year, so there is always the chance it could be moved somewhere a bit further with more space. It works out to an extra $120 for two people to do glamping, so if more space, nicer grass and flushing toilets sound worth it, then go for it. If you do, I'll bring a camping stove that I will selflessly let you use, and as any polite Canadian, you would share whatever you make with me.
