I didn't realize that about the Dream. I take it all back.
The Braves thing is bad...The Indians collapsed against Boston just a couple of years ago in the ALCS, if you'll remember, and would have swept the Rockies in the World Series had they not blown a 3-1 series lead. That was probably a 9.0/10 Misery Factor.
Also, fuck everyone who lives in Boston.

Also, fuck everyone who lives in Boston. concur (coming from a diehard Oakland A's fan). Edit: I'm giong to venture a guess that the only reason Oakland didn't make this list is because the Warriors, although grabage, actually have a solid fanbase, the author fears all Raider fans (as he should) and the sorrow felt by A's fans (all 456 of us) pales in comparison on a per capita level to any other baseball franchise

Occupy Tacoma is officially moved out. I hate to say it, but good riddance. They turned the beautiful park they were camped out in into an absolute dump. The tents and shelters are all gone, but the grass and gardens look like the Sasquatch campgrounds after everyone leaves. Garbage scattered everywhere...

Well at least the Idaho State Legislature seems to think it is, seeing as they are about to pass a tax cut to the highest earners in the state which will further curtail our revenue by $36 million while our schools are having to try and pass levies simply to stay afloat.

Sad but good quote from a friend I was discussing my previously posted article with.
"It doesn't feel like the 'end of the recession'. It feels like the end of our future."

Man I saw that and was going to "like" it but that just made me too sad. So then I looked at the happy animals thing I posted earlier because otherwise my brain hurts too much.

Went to cash a check and ended up stopping at my favorite bar to save the economy and drown my sorrows.
