Armand Van Helden is a guy who has been around for years and is still going strong. He's now 1/2 of the popular Duck Sauce along with A-Trak (the brother of Dave-1 from Chromeo) For me, this is quite possibly the best remix of all time. I'm sure most of you heard this track at some point. Definite classic.

For me, this is quite possibly the best remix of all time. And this is firmly in second place: Edit: This was also the highlight of the show for me when I saw Tiesto in April.

Brings back awesome memories of going to the Warehouse when I was 18-19. They always played this tune and it made me search out Becoming X which is probably in my top 25 favorite albums.

This thread is turning out to be like actual EDM: it's the only thing the kids are paying attention to.

EDC Vegas = 0 deaths? I am shocked.
I think I will be going to EDC Vegas next year since no one will go to coachella with me. I already have 5 friends that are down for going next year. Everything I read made it sound like the festival went extremely well, except for some shuttle issues. Can't Wait.

You can (if you want) spend the entire festival listening to and seeing nothing but EDM at different stages and tents. Seriously, heavy beats and womps can be heard from every single spot on the entire property. Some of the people we met up with go to Coachella strictly for the dance music and hardly ever left the Sahara tent and had the time of their lives. For someone like you (and me) though, having the option to have an endless smorgasbord of both dance music and tons of other genres is really a festival dream come true. Besides, Daft Punk won't be at EDC...

I know that coachella > EDC Vegas, but I don't think I will be able to afford to go to both festivals. And I rather spend money on the one where I have friends going as well. However If I can somehow afford both, then I am most definitely going to coachella as well. It's so far away from meow so who knows really, I'm just thinking out loud.

You guys are my friends! The glowpocalypse will be stuck in my head on repeat for the rest of my life. I meant IRL friends. Whom most don't understand my obsession with concerts/music festivals.

I was just giving you a hard time, daftmau5. I understand perfectly what you meant. I think a lot of us are in the same boat where a lot of friends don't share the passion we have for music and festivals. I hope you'll be at Coachella, but if not, well, I'll just catch you at Sasquatch then :-)

Pffff not an excuse!! I'm most likely traveling to Coachella with mrlahey (who I originally met on the Sasquatch Facebook page) and possibly my girlfriend (who I originally met at Sasquatch through emptyfox (who I originally met on the Sasquatch Facebook page)). I only have one "IRL" friend who I see on a regular basis that enjoys just about exactly the same music as I do. It works out well for Seattle shows and concerts but festivals become a bit tricky when trying to get a group together. That's why I'm so thankful for all of you guys and everyone else I've met through different social networks when it comes to something like Coachella.
I do get it though, daftmau5. If you have friends willing to hit up EDC with you then definitely get down there with them! Just know, though, that if Coachella becomes something you can swing you will have a ton of us boardies to spend the weekend with!

Pea whenever I think about the fact that you met your girlfriend like that, my heart just melts into tiny little pieces. That's so adorable. My brain can't even handle it.
