Meh. I've listened myself sick of TNAF. I really can't listen to that album anymore.
I also don't believe that necessarily excludes them from week 2. They obviously aren't going to exactly durplicate (I'm leaving that misspelled because it's funny) the lineup both weeks so I could imagine a few lower billed acts only playing one of the weekends.

Okay, headliner rumor I think holds water. There was an anonymous Bjork tour schedule posted on some message board in Europe that was eventually copied and pasted on the Coachella board. It's a pretty sloppy itinerary, and was immediately discounted and made fun of. However, Bjork has recently been confirmed as headlining both Primaveras and the Opener festival in Poland, which were on that randomly posted itinerary. Nothing in Bjork's currently posted shows from her website conflict with that random schedule, except the dates don't match exactly. It appears that schedule used the first day of each festival she was playing rather than the exact day.
Another reason it was immediately discounted is because it only says she will be at the first Coachella, but the author could have again just been posting the first day of the festival with the assumption she would play both (contractually?). It also says Coachella would be Bjork's only US appearance in 2012.
Take it for what you will, but I tend to track things like this until they are proven false, and this one has yet to be, all while confirming other festival gigs before that information was announced. It's not like everything leaked online is false.

Hopefully someone confused No Doubt with Bjork. I haven't listened to much of her music, but I would LOVE to see her live.
Sigur Ros into Bjork on the main stage? Match made in heaven. Or like, Iceland...

I would fucking love to see Bjork. Hopefully there's going to be a NW date if she come over here.

Active Child ASAP Rocky AVICII Band of Skulls Battles Bassnectar Beardyman Beirut Boom Bip Bon Iver Childish Gambino Das Racist Dawes Digitalism Death Grips Donavon Frankenreiter Feist First Aid Kit Four Tet Girls Gold Panda Holy Ghost! Justice Kasabian Keep Shelly in Athens Kings of Convenience LMFAO M83 Metronomy My Morning Jacket Neon Indian Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds Pulp Radiohead The Civil Wars The Shins St Vincent Swedish House Mafia The Head and the Heart The Naked And Famous Wild Flag Young the Giant
Sorry for the verticalness of this post, but it's only going to get worse. Also... RADIOHEADZ!!!11 Interestingly, no mention of No Doubt yet. They seemed to be the 2 biggest rumors that have been going around for a while now.

Apparently deadmau5 is playing in Spokane on Saturday, April 21st. This could possibly hint at him closing out the Friday dates of the festival. His new setup is perfect for the main stage and would command a gigantic crowd.

As much as I love seeing him live, I wouldn't feel guilty about missing his set in case someone else is playing that I would want to see.

is there another Spokane I'm unaware of? To me over 1300 miles is a bit of a stretch to cover in less than 24 hours

Yeah, I just mapquested it, 21 hours drive time. With this being five months away, if he was playing Coachella, you would think he would schedule the Spokane date a day later to avoid having to throw his new set up on a plane. It's not like Spokane is booked in April, and only has the 21st available.

That dude flies everywhere he goes. I'm just going off the idea that a lot of artists play west coast shows before and after Coachella.

Last year I saw him in New Orleans and the night before he played in New York. I don't think this is a problem.

Only reason I ask is because they headlined EDC last year, but you're probably right.

I definitely think they would be main stage. Just sold out MSG in a couple minutes, and two of them closed down two seperate nights in the sahara by themselves last year.

Solid points. I just hope there isn't another Chems/Boys Noize type debacle like this year. I would freakin love to see SHM.
