I won't wake up to my alarm if it ends in a 0 or a 5. I won't pay a tab UNLESS it ends in a 0. WAT.

I've walked out on a tab twice in my life. I felt terrible the second time, but the first time - fuck em'.

Things cost way more in Canada so we're probably evening out the same. You ain't foolin' with that, man. Ain't foolin' at all. I bought a 4 pack - 4 pack - of Mike's Hard Lemonade in Canada once for $13. Insane. Haha, I love that someone is surprised by that cost. Ha. Ha. Canada sucks so bad for liquor prices.

Haha and I shall be the one to segue this motherfucker back on topic. One of the best moments of Coachella last year was walking into the WalMart and watching my girlfriend grab a handle (40 for you canadians) of vodka for $10 dollars and watching her jaw drop. Soon after we had not one, but TWO locals come up and say "you really shouldn't buy that stuff". Lesson learned, it tasted like hair spray. This year I think we're gonna go high class and maybe buy a $20 handle. God bless California and their liquor prices.

Hahaha. Nobody calls it a handle in Washington. My roommate from Kansas blew me away with that word.

Actually, I forget. Is a handle a half gallon or is it the 750ml bottle?

Time to get all Canadian on you.
A TwoSix in Canada is a 26oz bottle or a 1.14L bottle A handle, according to the murricans last year, is a 40oz bottle

A handle is a half gallon (1.75 liters) and a fifth is a 750ml bottle.

I was considering going the cheap route for Coachella vodka, but shit man...it's already going to get hot in the sun, so I might as well at least go for a mid-range brand that's SOMEWHAT tolerable at high temperatures. I've found Finlandia to be the most modestly priced and pretty decent tasting brand out there. I think you can get a fifth for about $16-20. Not a bad price at all. AND IT'S MADE FROM REALZ FINLAND GLACIERS.

I've never heard anyone refer to a 1.14L bottle as a two-six, unless they were drunk and mistook the size. I usually call 1.14L (40z) bottles "forties".

I'm not sure what I'll be doing for coachella liquor. Looks like I'll be driving every day so will have to take it VERY easy in any event.

If this is the case then the $10 bottle of hairspray was a 60oz. And they had $2 bottles of wine. Seriously California.....what the fuck is wrong with you?

Minor correction, a two-six is 26oz = 750mL. I've never heard anyone refer to a 1.14L bottle as a two-six, unless they were drunk and mistook the size. This is correct. You beat me to it. This size bottle is also called a "fifth" in the States which refers to a fifth of a gallon, which is roughly what it's equal to. I usually call 1.14L (40z) bottles "forties" This is also [Canadian] correct, and is a liquor bottle size not as commonly found in the States. When Americans talk about forties they're talking about a forty ounce bottle of malt liquor, which is very different. On a related note, it is funny watching Canadians and Americans have a conversation about "drinking forties" and get all slightly confused because they're referring to different things but don't want to mention it. In my experience, I've only ever heard a bottle being called a "handle" by Americans, and when they do they're talking about a bottle that normally literally has a handle built into it, the volume of which being 1.75L, or ~60oz. PS. I'm landing in Palm Springs 1 week from right now!

Sorry to bring this back, but Canadians and Americans have different ideas of tipping because of Americans fucked up laws regarding minimum wage in the service industry. In America tips are supposed supplement the workers wage up to minimum wage, so service industries can justify paying their workers fuck all. In Canada, minimum wage is minimum wage (crazy!), and tips are just that...tips.
Back to Coachella....in exactly a week I'll be drinking in the airport Chili's getting ready to hop on a plane. GET AT ME!!!!!!!!!

So there is a supposed "leak" from a talent agency with a few set times. Take it with a grain of salt: windishagency.com/assets/10694/TWACoachella.pdfIf true, that's a lot of good news! Probably no M83/Pulp conflict as M83 would probably be against The Keys, and no Justice/Dre conflict! Although I can't imagine Miike Snow happening for me...
