What Can We Do?
You can bring a small camera with no zoom, lens or flash
I know they just mean no 'professional' cameras with removable lenses, but damn thats confusing. Every single cheap point and shoot digital camera has zoom and a flash.
And while I'm at it, why can't I bring my fancy camera in? I would try, and likely succeed, but I dont want to have to make the long treck back to the site to drop it off. Really, what's the big deal about me taking better pictures than I can with a point and shoot?

I always thought it was so you wouldn't get in the way. The same reason they usually don't let the people with press passes stay out for the whole show. They usually get one or two songs in front and then are ushered away.

Think about the billions we'd make off of HD quality Kanye West nip slips sold to TMZ alone. EDIT: Imagine, we could be billionaires and not just "some person" with a drawer full of low grade Kanye West nip slips. |

They usually get one or two songs in front and then are ushered away. Does someone with a slightly bigger camera really get in the way? You have to hold the thing to your face to take a picture so it's not like you are going to block someone's view. And yes FD, I always expected that was the reason. If I could bring my 300mm lense and zoom right in on James Murphy everyone would realize he's actually old and no one would think he's cool anymore. But since all my pictures were slightly fuzzy he looks 23. |
