Naw, that stuff is just plain wrong. There was a club in Victoria a couple years ago where it turned out the bartenders were putting it in the drinks. We saved our friend one night and it was very unpleasant. What is wrong with some people that they think that's the way to choose to try to connect?
I don't really do drugs, so for a long time I had friends saying they were going to dose me at some point with something- they didn't really understand why that prospect made me ludicrously angry- needless to say I don't really hang out with those people anymore.
But I either had GHB in my drink Thursday or Sasquatch obliterated my ability to drink like a large man.
Quite a number of years ago I had a "friend" dose me with something, to this day I'm still not sure what. All I know is I'm missing about 7 hours and when I came to I was walking the yellow line of a busy road not far from my house. That was easily the worst night of my life, and I immediately stopped hanging with that group.
No matter what your intentions are, giving someone else drugs of any kind without their consent is just about the most uncool thing someone can do.
Dammit!! I'm so mad I missed that set! and it's really weird, because a couple nights ago I had a dream that two of the boarders got engaged at Sasquatch during Pink Martini.
That proposal was so freaking cute. The whole "I just wanna be a rockstar for 1 girl" awwwww. Now I'm gonna go eat chocolate and watch a chick flick and think about being single.
aww davers, Im sorry the structure looked intimidating-we just like to have a lot of space and shade. Next year definitely come join us for a beer or five.
Im stoked the flag helped people find camp, i was typically too obliterated by the end of each night that even our flag and lights didn't help navigate me through my whiskey induced blindness!
Haha no worries, we still got to meet a bunch of times. If I'm not mistaken I high fived you and lots of your group in the festival a bunch of times.
Yeah by the last 2 nights I had the navigation down pat, but the first night when I went to get my wristband I was lost for a good 45 minutes. It can be tricky sometimes.
For sure we should have a few beers next year, I learned so many drinking games this year that I probably wont ever drink without games at sasquatch again.
