The fact that I only made it there once and it was already shut down proves to me that I royally fucked up my sasquatch this year. Meeting quite a few of you fine people was amazing though.

I really enjoyed meeting everyone. Souly, FD, HG, Stormy, Gibbons, Know, Drew, Stamper, Cat, J-Dawg, Hectic, Snorlax, Lahey, Chaco, Zephyr, Wolfhat, Shaxpear.... There were probably others too, my memory is pretty fuzzy.
The Glowpocalypse was super fun, and I hope some of you got to play with the inflatables at Chromeo!

I have a million funny stories, I just cant remember most of them, and half of them involve inside jokes with my friends. I'll do a quick few that stick out to me before bed while the weekend is still in my mind. - First off, anyone remember this thread? sasquatchfest.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=travel&action=display&thread=1341Well, we ended up giving them a ride. Long story short my brother works at the same place as one of them and they got to talking and ta da. I never mentioned that thread, though I intended to drunkenly bring it up and act surprised I never connected the dots. - We head down and stop by the Duty free store and as we are paying I look across and there is Jessie from DFA and MSTRKRFT buying a carton of smokes and some wine. I really hate bugging celebrities but we ended up leaving at the same time (I may have timed it that way) so I had to say have a great show and I shook his hand. Looking back I wish I got a picture, but again, I hate bugging celebrities. He then jumps into his black CL63 and drives off. If you were around the Peace Arch border crossing around 1pm on thursday you might have seen him too. - In the grocery store we had 1 cart for beer and one for food. I had the beer one and there is literally 250 beers in there. We are missing cups and paper towels and some other stuff so I go to get the cups and paper towels. I got so many odd looks with that much beer and only cups and paper towels and for some reason I found it funny as hell. - We get to site and right away our neighbour (named Iron) has a beer bong out and is having a blast. We do some drinking with them and his friends tell us that in the line they saw a hedgehog and he went to take a picture and a car ran over his foot. It is all wrapped in duct tape and he is still drinking hard. I know this guy knows how to party. Friday night he doesnt come back and we are up till 3 so we wonder where he could be. In the morning we find out he jumped the fence after the Foos (snuck OUT of the festival) and wandered the desert for 4 hours, lost his shoes and was drinking out of puddles. What an animal. Saturday morning he is kicking cans of beer off of peoples heads and ripping them in half and drinking them. Such an entertaining guy as long as you are in his head space. I could go on for days about this guy. - Saturday I wore a cop uniform I had from before and it looks pretty official for a second. I got pretty drunk during the day and abused my 'authority' tons. I was telling people to calm down, and then high fiving them when they realized I wasnt a real cop. I saw a guy jump hug a girl and she fell so I ran up and told them to break it up. He freaked for a second and tried his best to explain it was his sister, then laughed so hard when he realized I was just a drunken idiot. There were 2 girls play fighting on the hill and one saw me and yelled 'officer! My wife is beating me!' There are dozens of stories like this. I loved that fucking uniform, if I talked to any of you that day let me know, I figure the odds are I must have met at least one boarder without knowing it. Last one, this is getting long and I'm tired. This morning I was up till around 3am and my buddy still wanted to party so I left him with the people we were hanging out with. I woke up at 10am and he stumbles into camp and asks why we are up so early. I say its about 10am, time to pack up, wake everyone else up. He says he thought it was around 6am and he was just getting back now. He had a rough time packing up.

What an amazing Sasquatch! I just wanted to say how great it was to meet everyone on this board at the Gorge. I spent most of my days with Gramma, Stormy, Know, Gibbons, and Souly and they are just the most amazing, kind hearted and funny people I've met. It was like we seamlessly resumed some sort of incredible friendship we all must've had with each other in some former life. I had a total blast with them all festival long. Many fond memories.
I also got to;
- Get a bazzillion hugs from Pea - The world's coolest pair of glasses ever to be made from EmptyFox and Bforeman - Got serenaded by SWITCH and his guitar - Hung out with Cat and Stamper a couple of times, they are some seriously rad people who have world class hula hoop skills and came out to Mon the Biff with us! - Wolfhat gave me some delicious homemade banana bread - Shared in some drinking fun with Chaco and Zepher and their jungle juice - Dance some serious womp with the one and only Womp Womp! - Got to have a group chat with Lumpy. We missed you Lump! - Met Dontoro and his amazing glow suit - Met J-Dawg and his sweet glowing hat - Gave the tallest human on earth, Drew, a hug. Drew is seriously taller than a Sasquatch. - Met an IRL Snorlax. Wat up Snorlax! - Danced to some Das Racists with Bradberad (seriously wicked dude!) - Hung out with Pvmtchic[/b - Chilled with our spandexed boarder HecticDialectic who was in fine spandex form - and also got to meet another boarder who I should leave unnamed. It was a definite highlight!
Only because we were all so closely camped together and saw a lot of one another I just want to doubly say how cool Pea, Fox, SWITCH and Bforeman are, you're the best!!!!
I also had no issues with my flat tire as Souly had an air compressor with her. This board literally rescued me at the Gorge!

I need a computer before I can tell any more of my stories, but I can also say that without this board I would have probably not made it through the weekend. Best people I've ever met, and I met them on the Internet..
FD, your stories brought back some serious memories! I'm making a list of things to say for when I have a real keyboard.

One of you guys gave me some crazy weird ass 3d glasses for a moment during the peak of bassnectars set. Whoever that was my girlfriend and I greatly appreciated it haha. I wish I would've introduced myself to all of you guys, but to the people I did meet (peatrick, emptyfox, souly, and some other people I already forgot) it was awesome meeting you guys. Next year I will do my best to do more than just mon the glow with you guys.

Saturday night: so all 6 people in my camp at Wildhorse are about to pack it in some time around 3:30am, and we see a bright orange light, in the shape of a vertical rectangle, slowly shoot across the sky. It took about a minute and a half total to go from one side of the field to the next. It looked to be about 200-300 feet off the ground. It made absolutely no noise.
So as we sit there, completely dumbfounded by the fact that no one had a fucking camera, here it comes again, this time about 300-400 feet off the ground, and a bit further off into the distance. Our neighbors next to us were still up so I called to them to look in the sky. They were under their canopy and didn't bother to get up out of their chairs to heed to their crazy neighbors. One of them said, "I'll have some of what you're smoking!" and then muttered something amongst themselves along the lines of "Hmph. Funny way to meet the neighbors." I looked up, saw it continue toward the opposite horizon, and it abruptly disappeared into thin air.
I know I wasn't imagining things. It was as clear as a bell that something was there. It was unidentified, and it was flying object. Never thought I'd see the day.

Holy balls. What a great freaking weekend. Really glad I ran into so many of ya'll over the weekend. Legendary times.
Shit got crazy at Bassnectar. I lost my group but somehow ended up right in the middle of the boarder party/GLOW-FREAKING-POCALYPSE.
I rode a fuckin inflatable alligator over the crowd during Matt & Kim.
The sexy Chromeo dance party was off the chain.
I can barely function; I don't know why I am at work right now.
