Going to see Broken Social Scene tonight in Seattle. I think they'd be a great fit for Sasquatch... though it seems unlikely that they'll play in WA again just three months after a headlining show.

Interstateeight Have fun tonight at BSS, I am kinda pissed I am missing out...but its a little long for a drive from Vancouver on a weeknight. I saw them at the Showbox in 2005 (Feist actually opened for them, and she stunk it up). But BSS put on an awesome, seemingly never-ending show. Seems like we do have some crossover in musical tastes

I kinda agree with "greenman" in the sense that people are starting to get uppity because there is no info. Its kinda infuriating. I literally go to my 8 hour shift as a chef and get mad at things because of Sasquatch. Must... Keep..positive. As for theCure102 I don't think it was nescessarily better last year. Just a little more personable. Quartermass I support you 100%. HOW BOUT THIS? We inendate ADAM Zacks Facebook inbox with. GIVE US SOME HINTS MESSAGES. Whats the worst he'll do, change the privacy on his settings? Its not like he's going to shut the festival down? I just meant that there wasn't all the hostility that there is this year. The bottom line is that none of us are going to completely agree on music. But we are all here for the same reason, because we love music! I am super stoked for Sassie and it only has about half to do with who I actually get to see perform. Let's keep this fun!!!

Nicely put. The spirit of sasquatch is really what its all about. Iv talked to multiple people in quincy who claim the sasquatch visitors are by far the nicest of any others (also the worst being... you guessed it warped tour)

I'm like 87% sure meatloaf will headline playing the entire Bat out of Hell II: Back into Hell album get ready for some 1993 rocking!!! I looked on his website and what a surprise he is not doing anything on the 26th of may which lead me to his wikipedia page only to find it does not mention anything about how he will not be there, i have now come to the conclusion that he will in fact travel to the N.W to play sasquatch! I don't know about you but I'm excited!!!
Let the debate begin on how excited and happy we are about this stunning find! Can't wait for the gorge to all sing "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)"!!!

Going to see Broken Social Scene tonight in Seattle. I think they'd be a great fit for Sasquatch... though it seems unlikely that they'll play in WA again just three months after a headlining show. I don't disagree completely, but I do think as long as a band has played their headlining show before the lineup is announced, they can still play "in the area" for a fest. In this case, there are enough people in the Eastern Washington area (including the Canadians who are not close enough to catch the Vancouver show tomorrow night) who would dig seeing them at Sasquatch. I would still see them at Sasquatch even though I saw them roughly 18 hours ago. The trouble comes when the headlining show is after the lineup is released, because people planning to attend the festival might skip the local show knowing they will get to see them at Sasquatch. Case in point: The Thermals: 04-09 Portland, OR - Wonder Ballroom 04-10 Salem, OR - Grand Theater - Cherry City Music Festival 04-11 Seattle, WA - Neumo's

I would like to see Bush, they are suppose to return this year for some shows as long as Gavin doesn't bring his wife!

Coachella and Bonnaroo can have Paul and Bruce and that is fine by me. Just give us Neil Young, Lou Reed or Moody Blues!!! Would add a little diversity to the lineup and they all put on very intimate/powerful shows.

What about Jack's Mannequin... it might be a stretch, but could fit... same with Augustana.

They headlined Glastonbury last year. If you're not familiar with Glasto, it's arguably the biggest music fest in the world next to Roskilde, Coachella, and Bonnaroo. I would put money on them headlining a night, unless they open for a much older, more established band.

I would put money on them headlining a night, unless they open for a much older, more established band. Except KOL are not as big in the US as they are in the UK. That could be argued. I personally lost a lot of interest in them over the past few years. It seems like they are one of the biggest bands in the US as of late though. I don't really know what kind of response they get in the UK. They obviously must be well-received.................. I was reading a comment someone made earlier about the Kaiser Chiefs being a possibility, and I don't really see it. Kinda on the same topic in regards to response in the US compared to the UK. Kaiser Chiefs are possibly bigger than Jesus over there, but once again, I don't know what the normal reaction to Jesus is in the UK......... Anyways, the point I'm trying to make is that Kaiser Chiefs play enormously huge crowds, and they wouldn't play to many at Sasquatch! It doesn't seem like they'd go out of the way to play at the Gorge, unless they were nearby touring at the time, and even then I don't see it happening. I just don't see them being at Sasquatch!
