Why the fuck would they have an entire day with just Tool playing? There is absolutely no point to doing that whatsoever. There is zero chance the festival will be 4 days. you can quote me on that. I never said Tool would be playing an "entire day." I said they're the only ones playing on Friday. Why would they add a whole day of shows when most people will still be working? Tool's just playing a longer than usual set Friday night with nobody playing during the day.

Thanks for updating the blog. No Tool at Sasquatch, please.
Bonnaroo has a decent line-up also.
Brad, A+ last line. Perhaps the "those bands are dated" argument wasn't a good one. I should have simply said, "Those bands are terrible."

They won't add a whole day of shows on Friday, the festival starts on Saturday. Sorry but when you say that Morrissey is headlining you kind of lose all credibility. Yuck. If I was making up the headliners, I could do a better job than that. Why the fuck would they have an entire day with just Tool playing? There is absolutely no point to doing that whatsoever. There is zero chance the festival will be 4 days. you can quote me on that.Ok fine. I bet you $10, I am serious, that it's 4 days.

I spoke to 107.7 The End's DJ harms on the phone today and he told me that he knew of 'several' confirmed bands. However, the only one that he would tell me was Kings of Leon. I can't officially cite anything concrete, but there you have it.
This is my first post, but I've kept up with the entire thread.

Whoa. The lineup for Bonnaroo is quite solid. Sasquatch better have an amazing lineup, or I might just be going to Bonnaroo. Sure, I'd have to deal with annoying jam band fans (okay, sorry, not ALL jam band fans are annoying, but most are...), but it's a pretty sweet lineup otherwise and a 4 hour drive from Charleston is a lot easier than a 5 hour plane ride to Washington.

Boy, I badly want to believe that Grizzly Bear rumor. Wish it was a little more solid, but I'll take it with a grain of salt. If they and Animal Collective are on the bill, that's enough for me to buy tickets right freakin' now.
Oasis were never that good and are now totally past their prime. Do they really sell many albums anymore? I just can't see them having a big following in the Northwest. I say no way Adam Zacks is going to pay out the nose for someone like that to headline.

If Grizzly Bear and Animal Collective are there I will lose my mind. Also, the whole four day thing is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. That will never happen.

Here is a good rumor, Franz Ferdinand announced a partial tour. They are playing alot of festivals and there are some blank dates in the US around Sasquatch. No date out of the US till May 30th, maybe a Sasquatch close? Apr 4 - Coliseo de Atarfe Granada, Granada Apr 15 - Fox Theater, Oakland, California (tix) Apr 17 - Coachella Indio, California May 07 - Roseland Ballroom, NY, NY May 30 - Jelling Festival Jelling www.brooklynvegan.com/archives/2009/02/franz_ferdinand_20.html

I have no reason to trust/not-trust the Grizzly Bear thing. It's a rumour until it isn't, but it wouldn't be a stretch that they would play this thing (they were wildly popular at the 07 Sasquatch, people like them, they "fit", they are touring around then...)
