What about Jimmy Eat World or even AAR? I know it's a little more pop than rock, but they could put on a killer 45 minute set. You're aware this is the Sasquatch festival right? I mean they usually have a rock band every year but it fits. Like the Hives last year, they worked well. Jimmy Eat World? Maybe, but I wouldn't watch them. AAR? FUCK NO. They play the Warped Tour every now and then and I hate them then. They're a pop band.

HOLY GOD YOU NEED TO FIX YOUR ENTIRE LIFE, GET OFF THE INTERNET In other news: Does no one listen to KEXP? Yesterday, John Vanderslice was doing an interview/live performance and confirmed that he will be at Sasquatch this year. So there you go everyone, we now have three confirmed acts. Write it down. Also, re: Coachella: I envy every desert-dwelling Californian right now.

Haha, I have no idea who AAR are, but I'd imagine if they are suggested next to Jimmy Eat World, I'd probably pass. Sorry, just not really Sasquatch friendly music, in my opinion. I really feel like a lot of first timer bands should be there this year though. It seems like a lot of stuff is getting to be a bit repetitive at Sasquatch! Although, I have no problem with Ghostland playing a closing set. That would be a large dance party/light show I could deal with........ I'm really hoping for a good amount of electronic/dance music this year. I just wanna dance!

They need a dance tent, fuck the outdoor movie theatre.
I don't think I danced much last year, certainly not compared to Bjork in 07

I just hope they don't waste money and space with a fucking gaming tent. That was just stupid. The comedy tent wasn't a great idea to me either. I go to Sasquatch for four reasons, in this order: 1. Music 2. The awesome people 3. the drinking and um... greenery. 4. The fucking music!

Here are some of my "predictions" Sasquatch will be expanded to 4 days. Tool will be the only act playing on Friday night. Morrisey and Oasis will be headlining 2 of the other 3 nights. Call it a hunch.

Call it a hunch. I believe you on the 4 days. Although Morrisey I'm doubting based on his tour dates and when Sasquatch always takes place.

"FOTC, no. They played last year and are doing two days in Seattle in May."
Do you have any more information on these dates? What is your source? Thanks,

Call it a hunch. If Oasis played at Sasquatch I would be so happy. I saw them in August and they were so good. Morrissey would be amazing too, especially if he brought the Courteeners with him.

Ok so i found the info on FOTC:
Vancouver: May 10 Seattle: May 11-12
...and they are in Vegas May 23, LA May 24, and Berkeley May 25...so it looks unlikely they would be at Sasquatch 09.

I think Morrisey is touring Europe during Sasquatch!. So, he's a no go. In regards to the dance tent, for it to be legit, it would have to be a pretty big tent. I'm going on my 4th Sasquatch!, and about my 10th time at the Gorge, and I don't know of any area that would be big enough to hold a big-ass tent like that......... Could someone enlighten me?

There is the good sized area where the Flaming Lips had their circus tent for their awesome movie. You also have to remember, Sasquatch doesn't hold as many people as every other festival, so it doesn't have to be that big either. It also doesn't mean they need a dance tent. I also doubt one will exist. Sasquatch is also a festival that tries to set itself apart from every other festival, why should it have a dance tent then? I get that people like it, but that doesn't mean they need it.

Anyone think there would be a chance that Band of Horses would be possible for the fesitval this year? One of the best bands I have ever seen live except the flaming lips of course.
