Ok, hopefully i do not get flamed for my first comment of the year.
First off, I would think that Eagles of Death Metal would be touring festivals during the summer. Are they not Indie enough for these events? Personally i would love to see them
Second, I would love to see Ghostland come back again, any chance that may happen? I see they are playing Coachell this year.
Lastly, bring We are Wolves from Montreal to play one of the smaller stages, I love those guys.

Personally i would love to see them I don't know that there is much of a boundary for the type of music at Sasquatch! I would also be pretty pumped if they made an appearance. They'd be fun to see live.

I'm definitely not excited about Kings of Leon at all. If they play Wookie, that'd be fine. They could take the time slot Ghostland had last year. My guess is that Fleet Foxes will be playing this year, considering they're from Seattle and they're playing Coachella.... My guess is Grizzly Bear will be there as well, along with really any other band that is showing up as repeats across the festival board (Coachella, Bonnaroo, etc). Band of Horses will probably be there because they're from the area, put out an album since the last Sasquatch!, and weren't there last year. Beirut will be in Europe in mid-May ) : Portugal. the Man is playing Bonnaroo and don't have any dates past April; since they're from the area also, they might be there. Okkervil River is another crossover, meh, as are the Ting Tings, Booker T, TV on the Radio, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I hope TV on the Radio plays Sasquatch! 'cause then there will be a chance we'll get the lineup sooner than it's supposed to be released (I'd be pissed if I were Bonnaroo).
On a side note, Built to Spill has zero tour dates.... period. Hopefully they'll stop by-- who doesn't love one of the best bands of all time?
OH! And I'm betting they'll have the National again because they were pooped to a smaller stage during Modest Mouse and not everyone knew they even played (it would be a similar situation to M.I.A. and the past two years...).

Except KOL are not as big in the US as they are in the UK. That could be argued. I personally lost a lot of interest in them over the past few years. It seems like they are one of the biggest bands in the US as of late though. I don't really know what kind of response they get in the UK. They obviously must be well-received.................. I was reading a comment someone made earlier about the Kaiser Chiefs being a possibility, and I don't really see it. Kinda on the same topic in regards to response in the US compared to the UK. Kaiser Chiefs are possibly bigger than Jesus over there, but once again, I don't know what the normal reaction to Jesus is in the UK......... Anyways, the point I'm trying to make is that Kaiser Chiefs play enormously huge crowds, and they wouldn't play to many at Sasquatch! It doesn't seem like they'd go out of the way to play at the Gorge, unless they were nearby touring at the time, and even then I don't see it happening. I just don't see them being at Sasquatch! They went 4x platinum in the UK and as you said, headlined Glastonbury. They're very popular over there compared to here.

Eagles of death metal are a good match especially since it seems that they are ending a tour of europe around the beginning of april so they definitely could be on the lineup
of Montreal i hope will be there (crossing my fingers)
Brian jonestown massacre would be nice but i dont know it its a possibilty since they are touring in the NW in march
Neil young would be stellar same with lou reed but i think neil is more of a possibility
i like kings of leon if they would stick to their older stuff thats more garage rockish but i dont favor them as a headliner
argg why cant feb 25 be tommorrow

I think KoL would make a great friday night headliner. They're one of the biggest bands in rock right now and they just sold out Madison Square Garden . If the Flaming Lips can close out the festival , then KoL can certainly open it .

Below is the Friday lineup on the main stage at Glastonbury last year. So sure Kings of Leon headlined, but who else was going to? * Kings of Leon * The Fratellis * Editors * The Gossip * The Feeling * KT Tunstall * Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly * The Subways * Kate Nash
It is not like they headlined over Jay-Z, Leonard Cohen, Massive Attack, Amy Winehouse, Manu Chao, Raconteurs, James Blunt, Neil Diamond, John Mayer, My Morning Jacket, the National and the Verve.
I agree they are a bigger draw since their new album was released, but seriously, who wants Kings of Leon to headline? You wouldn't rather see a bigger draw headline, and Kings of Leon sub-headline? You get to see them either way.
Sasquatch promoting Kings of Leon as a headliner would almost be as funny as Coachella promoting the Killers as a headliner.

I am a huge KoL fan and I would super excited if they were there, but I do agree that a bigger name should headline. I would kinda be peeved if that was one of the biggest names they could get to headline.

Haven't heard anything, but I'd say that chances are pretty good. I believe he last played in '06? Not a big fan of the new album, but Trouble is one of my favourites. I doubt Bedouin will be there. Last I heard they were opening for No Doubt on their upcoming tour. Yuck.

Yeah I think i heard that to somewhere. I think its kinda weird they are opening for no doubt. I guess they could be here if no doubt rumors come true, which god help us if they do..that would be just terrible.

a sound engineer/roadie friend CLAIMS he's been hired to work a segment of the No Doubt tour and that one of the legs will take them to the gorge. He doesn't know if it's for No Doubt, Paramore, The Sounds or even Bedouin Sound Clash. Maybe one of them, maybe more...
I would take info from him with a grain of salt... just passing it along.

There's always a chance they're just playing the Gorge. But if they did do Sasquatch, either the Sounds or Bedouin would be awesome.
