Hahaha waaaaait a minute. So you ACTUALLY DO live near the Gorge? I thought that was a joke! I definitely live in the gorge, right on the river with our own private beach where we kayak nearly daily and love living on this beautiful river:-) Do you have some peanut butter and white bread? Cuz I'm jelly.

Cuz I'm jelly. Hahaha! I am sure we have peanut butter because the parrots love it but probably only healthy grain bread...will that do?

Yes...a female Blue and Gold Macaw named Taz that has been with us for over 15 years and a Goffin's Cockatoo named ChiChi who is about 25 years old. Crazy critters for sure but they sort of fit in with the 4 dogs, assorted cats, turtles...etc. When kids come over they ask if we have a petting zoo:-)
And just to keep this current........it is a gorgeous day in the Gorge! Sunny, light wind and already about 70 degrees! Perfect!

I think all of Washington has a lovely high pressure airmass nestling softly above it right now, because it's unbelievably gorgeous in Tacoma as well.

Portland's nicer than it's been in a while today too. I've noticed, actually, that the full moon tends to drive away pretty much all the clouds for a couple days in this part of the world. That may be the case in other parts of the world, but from my experience and where I've lived it is much more pronounced in the Pacific NW.
So in summary: Let's have Sasquatch this weekend.

My iPhone forecast says it'll be 81 in the gorge this Friday. Let's move it. I'll leave today.

Thanks go to whoever is responsible for bringing the nice weather to the west coast in time for my return home. No sense in stressing about what it'll be like at Sasquatch, but I sure do hope it holds!

If the weather there is anything like the weather in Calgary, I wouldn't bother looking at the forecast until about the day before. And even then it will be wrong.
