Welp, the 10 day forecast punches into the middle of next week, and it ain't looking too swell. Temperature-wise, I'd be happy as a pig in shit if it stays in the mid 70's, but please God, Allah, Manbearpig, and anyone else who might be listening...NO RAIN FOR SASQUATCH wtf am I talking about, mid-70's? It barely hits 70 on Wednesday...ughhh

Shit's been changing daily... it's annoying. Basically no one has a fucking clue what the weather will be like there, so over the course of the days leading up, they make sure to tell you everything will happen so that they are never entirely wrong. www.accuweather.com/us/wa/george/98824/forecast-details.asp?fday=15Yesterday, this said sun all the way through.

That is pretty bunk... Well at least my brothers idea of getting cheap suits from a thrift store to wear for a day might pan out if it doesnt get too hot.

With the el nino that rolled through here during the late winter, I'm really not surprised that it hasn't begun warming up there like usual this year. Still sucks though.

We haven't had a rain-filled Sasquatch in the six years I've attended. We are due.

Hahaha...the forecast will change every day until the fest:-) Don't worry about what you cannot effect! It is extremely likely that even if there is some rain or a few showers, it will not be constant or any sort of deluge. That is what is likely. We could have a flippin horrendous storm of cours..this is the NW, but it is not likely, so again, don't stress it. Always pack for chilly wind at least sometime over the weekend, and something for the sun too in case it shows its lovely face:-) Weather is sure to be better than on the west side of the Cascades at least!

I bought pretty dresses for Sasquatch. If it rains more than a slight drizzle, I'll be sad.

Dammit that reminds me I forgot to buy a hat condom for my cowboy hat. I may have to make an emergency stop at the western wear store if I drive to work on Wednesday.
And yes, we do actually call them "hat condoms". They're plastic things that are designed to fit over a cowboy hat if you're wearing one in the rain.

I feel like she's our reporter at the scene. This information will be invaluable.

I feel like she's our reporter at the scene. This information will be invaluable. She's one of the best newbs we've had in a while. She started when you were on your break, and is a festival vet. She lives near Biggs, on the Oregon side of the Gorge, if my memory serves me right.

She's sexually one of us.

She's the nicest woman I've ever not actually met. She's bringing me a tent and air mattresses since I'm flying in. Like for reals, I didn't know people that wonderful existed.
