I'm heartbroken, but I have to cancel my trip. I have a 4-day pass available. I'm asking $310 paid through PayPal only. The extra $ is to include PayPal fees and insured and tracked shipping. I'm really just trying to get my money back but I can't afford to lose any. If you live in the Las Vegas area, you can pick it up for $285 cash.

Actually it's not spam at all. I'm not sure why you believe that, but I've attached a picture of the ticket (minus the UPC obviously) and I would be happy to forward a copy of the Ticketmaster receipt to anyone who wants to buy it . If you think it's spam because of Paypal, I would be happy to post an eBay listing with the ticket instead. I just thought this would be easier and less expensive. Paypal does take a percentage of any goods or services sold and as I said, I can't afford to lose any money on this ticket. If anyone has any specific concerns, I'm happy to address them. I've definitely heard about a lot more bullshit going down this year. It's pretty sad.
OP I'm not saying your sale is fraudulent, there's just been a lot of it this year.

For real, I feel like I've been dodging a bullet for years buying tickets from people on Craigslist. Not to make selling your ticket any more difficult, stranger from the internet, but someone posted a straight-up horror story just last night about getting ripped off and hard.

It definitely sucks that people aren't more trustworthy. Trust me (or don't I guess) - this is the last thing that I want to be doing. But financial issues have arisen and it's my only option.

Your first post--which has sounded like other spammers who've popped out just as fast as they've popped in here in the past--was merely an offer for tickets that were over face-value. Whatever your reasoning, whether justified or not, please excuse us for being cautious in a forum where we've all spent months getting to know each other. Several of us have been screwed over by scalpers--both indirectly and directly, so if you want to get offended by us thinking that your story smells a bit like a piping hot plate of fresh seafood, you can take your tickets to craigslist and stubhub. And if you're legit, then I apologize. |
