Not bad! Still a lot of bruising around the shin, calf, foot, and ankle, but most of the pain is gone. I'm pretty sure the main injury was a bruised shin bone, because I still have a large, discolored poop sticking about a half an inch up out of the side of my shin. It doesn't hurt anymore but it feels like a ripe peach and still looks pretty nasty haha.
To make matters worse, I was helping my buddy unload his truck the other day and when I jumped out I landed with my big toe (same leg) jamming straight into the ground. I thought it was broken at first but it was just a really bad jam. I can finally move it a little bit again and now it's also starting to feel a little better.
This is so true, I was being an idiot at work a few years back and we were having the workboots high jump of sorts. The goal was to see how high we could jump onto a pallet that was being incrementally raised by our forklift. Problem number one: Steel-toed work boots are heavy; two: the pointy end of the forks was sticking out of the end of the pallet; and finally 3 : My vertical jumping distance very sadly and painfully to admit, does not exceed 26.5 inches...... my shin has never been the same, and to add salt in my wounds, I couldn't exactly take time off work with the excuse: " I was seeing how high I could jump".
