It will likely be a game time decision. To make things a little easier I should just not listen to HLaK and pretend they don't exist.

In other news, it looks like I'm going to miss the WKD chant. I'll be preoccupied in the Banana/Bigfoot area. The only way I was going to be around for the grand heckle was if there were no conflicts, but alas it was not meant to be.

I will also be skipping Chromeo for Black Mountain. This should surprise none of you.

why are you complaining? you get 90 minutes of FLAMING FUCKING LIPS... and at least 30 minutes of Yeasayer. sounds like a win-win. *sunrise, tightrope, ambling alp and 2080 will all happen in the second half of their set. * Yeah I know but why couldn't yeasayer have been playing during wilco or something. Literally my favorite bands, in no specific order, are Yeasayer, Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse and I wanted full sets of each!

I love this schedule. I don't have to see any half sets until Monday and the rest of my days are packed(except Friday, unless drinking counts).

Is Washed Out that 'chillwave' the kids are speaking of? I heard one track and it was, I don't know, it was a song I guess. Yep.

Alright... I made a rough version of the schedule on excel. Let me know if there are any errors. Original credit goes to doumak. Thank you so much for this!! I printed it out last night at work and spent a good half hour highlighting everyone I want to see. If everything goes according to my intricate highlighting plan, I will be catching 23 full sets, 10 partial sets and room for up to 8 more bands to fit in! (of course, I expect varying states of mind and moods, my festival companions, and festival glitches to cause changes here and there) I was surprised how well everything seemed to flow, with the only huge conflict becoming Chromeo / Black Mountain / Head Like a Kite. I'll have a chance to catch Black Mountain at Live at Squamish. I've really been digging HLaK's album but I don't wanna miss the sexy dance party.... Chromeo might end up winning that battle.

I was just listening to a Washed Out song and I didn't even notice when it ended. All of a sudden I was like, 'Oh it's quiet in here now. That's kinda nice.'

Yeah they do. In '08 and '09 they had these really neat fold-out schedules that collapsed to the size of a credit card. They were super handy. Last year they handed out this unnecessarily huge magazine-like thing instead, it was lame.

sweet, thanks!
The ones at coachella this year were great. About the size of a smart phone, or a little bigger than a wallet. Really convenient.

Anyone else save their schedules from each year? I HAVE to always bring one home as a keepsake. It's fun looking back through those.

Yeah, I've got all of them! It's funny when you look back at 2007 or something and see some band you really like now playing on the Yeti. If only I had known!

If it wasnt for Live at Squamish the Black Mountain / Chromeo conflict would piss me off more than anything. But since I dont have to worry about that I will get my hate on for Rodrigo Y Gabriella / Best Coast

3:45 - 5:15: Scott Auckerman/Paul F. Tompkins (SORRY BROS) Thank goodness! I need SOMEONE to report on this for me. And to be honest, I'd probably pick this too if I were going. Mostly just because I'll get to see Guided By Voices at the 2 other festivals I'm going to, one of them headlining.
