I was moving some files between computers and found this list of my favorite albums of 2008 and figured I'd post it here for fun. I wouldn't change much of it although Bon Iver would be number 1 if I remade it:

This would be THE Opeth album for you to start with. Yeah it would for HG probably. I would say listen to Damnation before Heritage.
