That sucks Souly! I hope you make an awesome flag and display it proudly. It will feel better to have a flag that you made yourself. Personalized.

I know, and I read some really cool tips on how to make a good flag. The argument with flag guy did end up to me losing 25 dollars, but whatever. I'm going to leave shitty reviews everywhere I can find for that place.

That is a bummer but I bet your homemade one is going to kick ass.

I have faith in your flag making ability. Will it still be about cats? I hope there will be cats.

Haha yes I'm using a huge Canadian flag as a starting point.. But it won't be recognizable by the time I'm done. And for all of you worry warts.. I checked, it's not illegal to fuck up the Canadian flag.

Bought my flag the other day: EDIT: Image didn't work. The flag I got has this logo on a blue background. My favorite logo of my favorite NHL team. I'm trying to get my hands on a White Caps flag to go with it but so far have been unsuccessful. I'll be using the tried and true bamboo + cable ties method for my flagpole. I bought seven 6" lengths of sturdy bamboo but will likely use some for other applications. The pole will be in the neighborhood of 20" tall and will be attached to one of the legs of our gazebo for support. I might string some solar lights up it, but I haven't decided yet. I'm excited for the erection! We both own the same flag.

Haha, so we do! Did you get yours a CT? I had to dig past 100's of other flags all the way to the bottom of the bin to find that style. Definitely the best choice.
I knew there would be many Canucks flags in the campground this year but I was hoping mine would be a little more unique. Now I learn that it's a duplicate and we haven't even arrived yet! I'll definitely have to settle on a second flag to fly with it.

I got it at some random sports store in New West.
The funny thing is I was initially planning on getting a Whitecaps flag too!

Souly I'm making my flag at work. We have a wide format printer with 24" paper, I'm making my flag 2ft by 3ft and laminating it so it won't get ruined in the rain. It's a 5 mil laminate so it's going to be a bit "stiffer" than anyone else's flag, but that makes it stay more open and visible. If you want, I can help you make one. I know photoshop well enough to spend some time getting you a cool flag, and I can get it to you at the festival.

That's an awesome stand, I'm hoping we'll be able to just tape our poll to the canopy and be done with it, we'll see I guess. I was thinking about picking up a Canadian Hockey flag as there probably won't be any of those. Has anyone seen one like this at previous Sasquatches?

Has anyone seen one like this at previous Sasquatches? That's like saying, "I know you see a lot of shirtless bros with armband tattoos, but has anyone seen a shirtless bro with an armband tattoo holding a hockey stick?"

hahaha interesting analogy. I'm just having trouble figuring out what flag I'll be flying. Unfortunately I work out of town and haven't had a chance to get to any stores yet but I'm back in town tomorrow to pack and shit for Sasquatch so hopefully I'll get to a flag shop and see what I can come up with.
I just want to get something unique but having never been to Sasquatch before, I'm not sure what the most common flags used are.
