Jerky Pbj sammiches Beer Cashews Rye Canned fruit Jello shooters
Don't have a camping stove anymore nor do I think I'll have room for it. Only cooling essential items such as beer and that day's batch of jello shots.

We've got a truck, so can bring multiple coolers. I work out in the field in the summers, and so camp over 3hrs from a store for 10 days at a time. I've got food down to a science. We can keep perishables ok for 10 days in 80+ weather as long as we have shade.
A tarp or other, silver side out, will make your ice last twice as long.

What kind of work do you do? Nice, Red. Since I will be bringing a trailer, I will have all the room that I need. I go to the stroe and just start loading up. Stop by the elk trailer and say Hi.

I love the way that Sasquatch gives off this air of being back to earth, simple life living. Here we are eating bagels and lox and Tri Tip roasts, lol

First off, all I have to say regarding perishables is block ice, not cubes! Also, wraps, not soft bread, it'll get all squished and gross. I'm already putting food aside. I'm food psycho. We're planning on fish tacos the first night (frozen tuna steaks), and then I've frozen buffalo burgers, plain hamburgers & blue cheese burgers. mornings I've got eggs & bacon, will boil potatoes so I can make home fries, planning on crab & regular eggs benedict with grilled tomatoes & basil. Plenty of beer & 2 bottles of homemade wine. To bring in with us, I've made sunflower seed granola bars, cookies, will have jerky, cheese, dried sausage like pepperoni or sopressata, sardines v& crackers, carrot/celery/cauliflower pieces to snack on, probably more. I'm figuring a yummy breakfast, and good burgers on the way into the venue. snacks once we get in there. Now this is the way to do Sasquatch:-) Dry ice really extends regular ice though and for anything you want to keep frozen until say Sunday or Monday it is great!

What kind of work do you do? I'm a wildlife biologist. Basically, someone who never outgrew playing in the mud. ;D I'm also music obsessed, and food obsessed.
