J-Dawg! Are you settled in SD now?? How's life been these past few weeks? It's been a busy few weeks (actually, it's been busy since the start of May). I can't say I'm settled just yet, I still feel very much in transition, but I'm working on it.

Haha. Not to mention an entire weekend's worth of Phillips microbrews. Another delicious but not so healthy rifflandia treat. That was so freaking awesome. I was so surprised to be able to drink good beer at a reasonable price that I drank probably way too many. Meet you in the beer tent this year? I'd just like to follow this up by saying that me 'n' Souly actually did meet up with this lady in the beer tent. She came up and was like "I have a weird question. Do you guys go to Sasquatch?" and then we were all good internet friends and it was awesome!

I know we had talked about dry ice a little on this thread before Sasquatch 2012 so I figured I'd chime in with an update and say that for us, dry ice was TOTALLY worth it. We bought a 10lb chunk of it from Fred Meyer the night before we left, wrapped it in a cloth grocery bag, and buried it under a layer of regular ice at the bottom of our cooler.
We put our meat/highly perishable items on the bottom and they were basically kept completely frozen solid for days. Items at the top of the cooler less so, but still cold. It wasn't until Sunday morning that most of our regular ice had melted and we went to the Gorge convenience store for a fresh bag, which carried us until the end.
In short, I highly recommend it. Just remember to wrap the dry ice in some sort of cloth (towel, tshirt, etc), and don't put your beer or anything else you don't want frozen solid at the bottom of the cooler.

You fuckers laughed at me when I first mentioned dry ice as a noob! GO TO HELL NON-BELIEVERS Shax, it wasn't about non-believing. It's about the obvious fact that all the ideas that are good and genius have already been discussed and laid out for the noobs to find and digest with awe and wonder. Fuck you for trying to say otherwise! Dry Ice? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!! Yes, I'll just go to school and get my Dry Ice degree PhD MD to keep my stuff chilled... yeah, right!

I'm still laughing. Dry ice is completely unnecessary. I've gone to Sasquatch 6 times and have never used it and/or needed it.
Edit: I guess I should have added that I only eat canned meat products and thus don't even need non-dried ice aka regular ice aka ice.

The funny thing is, I'm likely the only regular who has honestly never created a fake account, yet wonk has me pegged for at least two haha.
