I survived on those awful soy joy bars they were giving away. I don't think I have ever had anything less tasty in my life.
It was weird, I barely ate all weekend. Didn't buy anything inside the grounds, just snacked on granola bars I brought in. I had to force myself to eat at certain points during the day.

I think I bought one thing of those noodles and proceeded to pour it all down the legs of my pants. I looked like someone short puked all over me.

On Friday at the very end of the night when I was tired and drunk and starving I got a cheese steak from the campground vendors. It was this big, greasy mass of meat topped with some sort of ladel cheese. In any other circumstance I am sure that would have been the most vile thing I have ever eaten, but in the moment it was like god sent me this sandwich bathed in glory and angels and it was the best thing I have ever consumed.

This describes perfectly almost everything I have ever eaten at the end of a night of heavy drinking.

Portland > Seattle in pretty much every aspect that matters, actually. Besides unemployment.
Can I just say - on topic - cup o' noodles and Maple Brown Sugar instant oatmeal saved my life Sasquatch weekend. I'm so glad I wasn't damned to 4 days of straight PB&J.

Cheddar Jalapeno bagels from safeway + smoky cheddar cheese spread. So fattening- so good after a night of partying.

I ate 16 hotdogs at Sasquatch, and when I walked into my back yard when I got back, my dad was grilling some more. Probably should have said no......
.....Don't worry, I already know I'm gross.

When I woke up on Sunday morning there were 4 hotdogs and buns missing and my mouth tasted like regret.

I thought I was being sneaky when I stole 30 (no joke--I counted) Soy Joys on Friday. I woke up the next day and I was dumbfounded.
And it may have already been mentioned, but who discovered the glory of the spicy pie in the campground? Probably the best $6 spent all weekend.

I may or may not have sent my friend Steve a drunken text with the content "ZOMG this is the best soy bar ever" during loud Friday... By Saturday morning I had changed my opinion.

I brought home over 50 of those bars. I actually think they're ok, as long as the price is free of course. I put one in my lunch every day last week, brings me back to Sasquatch with every bite.

And it may have already been mentioned, but who discovered the glory of the spicy pie in the campground? Probably the best $6 spent all weekend. There are multiple spicy pie vendors at Coachella. More reason for you and Stamper to come. In fact, you can buy "I <3 Spicy Pie" T-shirts.

Is it incredibly strange that I did not consume a single soy joy bar or bag of popchips over the course of the entire festival?

I totally didn't either. I did, however, eat several orders of $9 chicken strips/fries.
