Only football for me this year. I foresee a summer full of concerts, bbqs, topless women (I can say this because nobody reads the sports threads), and trips to the beach, leaving no time to worry about changing my baseball lineup.

I created the league. I sent the league name and password to:

If anyone else is interested, PM one of the above for the league/password (I don't log in very often), or state your interest in this thread and someone listed above will forward you the info. I doubt we will reach the required ten teams, so if anyone has a friend who wants to play, go ahead and send them the link (or request, then send). If all else fails, we do have the option to make the league public, so if we're sitting at five teams a couple days before the draft, it will be filled with (other) strangers.
Live draft is Monday, March 26th, at 9pm Eastern.

Fantasy Football has a lot of luck to it, so people who don't pay attention still have a decent chance, and when it comes to picking NCAA brackets, the less knowledge the better, but fantasy baseball is thee opposite. It really is something you need to check in on every couple days or more to be competitive. I don't know how long it will take the league to fill up once I make it public, but it might only be a couple hours. I'll make it public this weekend, since the draft is next Monday. If you, or any of your friends want to play, make sure to sign up by Friday. If the last three spots go to "the public," that will only make the league more competitive, so I have no problem with it. My current fantasy sports nemesis filled the #9 spot. He played fantasy baseball for the first time last year but his league was a week-to-week, head-to-head match up format. This will be the first time he plays the 5x5 format. That being said, he'll probably beat me anyway. |

Everyone who stated interest has signed up, so I opened the league to the public to fill the last spot. Adding a fantasy baseball internet nerd will make the league a lot more fun. I'm looking forward to the draft Monday. See you kids then.
