Dude, did you hear that comment they made about the 4-minute penalty for high-sticking? I never knew that. I've always wondered the reasoning behind it. I'm at work and watching it without sound. What's it all about? (if it is easy enough to type out, that is) |

Oh totally. I've always thought it was stupid that if someone is highsticked, and it draws blood, it is automatically 4 minutes.
Glen Healy noted after that highstick at the end, that they put that rule in place because of Hepatitis-C, because the player cannot play until the blood is stopped...and I guess it could take an extra couple of minutes to stop the bleeding.
Still silly to me, but at least I know their reasoning know.
Also where do you work that you can watch the hockey game? Don't answer if you don't want to.
