I really love the weird, trippy, experimental side of Jim Henson from the late 60's. He kept it hidden for the most part after Sesame Street really took off, but it came back out towards the end of his life with some of his segments for The Jim Henson Hour and The Storyteller.

Are the Henson Hour episodes available anywhere?

No, unfortunately. I've never seen them released. I remember watching them on TV when I was much younger and feeling that special combination of fascination and terror.
Man, the Henson Company has just been a shambles since he died. Output has ceased almost entirely in the last ten years (and was infrequent and of low quality the ten before that), and what little of the classic material is available is packaged very poorly. There's nice sets of 'The Muppet Show', but half the films aren't even in print. I've got a lot of hope riding on Jason Segel's Muppet movie coming out this fall. I hope he understands that if he blows it, that's gonna be pretty much it for the Muppets.

The Storyteller IS available on DVD, though, and if you haven't seen that you really should. The episodes of that series that Jim directed were some of the most accomplished things he ever did, particularly 'The Soldier and Death'.

I feel like the music video has become a bit of a lost artform. The 90's and early 2000's really seem to be the high point for the good ol' VJ's, but are there still good music videos being produced even though they're being seen by fewer people these days? You betcha! Let's see 'em!

Just saw this video last night. Love it!
This is the first song I've heard from Austra too, so far so good.

Oh shit! Real Estate? Tom Scharpling? Perfect. Tom Scharpling is gradually making his way through every Jersey-centric band apparently.
