Fellow A's fans, if you have yet to download the free 95.7 FM The Game app, do so. Cool, I downloaded it. I typically record the day games when I'm at work, and watch them when I get home. I rarely have three hours of uninterrupted work when I can listen to a game. This will come in handy on the rare "radio only" games. Speaking of 95.7, when I was driving to Coachella, I made a pit stop in San Jose the Wednesday before the festival. The A's were playing the Royals at 12:30pm that day (long story, logistically I couldn't attend), so my buddy told me to listen to the game on the way. When I hit 505 from I-5 barely NW of Sacramento, I was still stuck listening to country music on 95.7 waiting to pick up the bay station.

Just so you're aware you can't listen to the game on the app, guess I should have mentioned that. However, the app comes in handy for listening to the after show. I enjoy listening to the nervous fans call in and try and talk baseball. Always amusing.

Ah. I meant to post the pre and post game would be worth it. That's too bad they don't do the games, but listening to bay area sports talk will be much better than Portland sports talk.

Also should mention that although it's the A's affiliate, it tends to be more Giants talk as the Gnats are kings of the bay. So in retrospect, don't download the 95.7 The Game app. HA!
Edit: So out of curiosity i turned the app on and wouldn't you know it. They're talking A's Baseball with Susan Slusser. Considering it's free I guess it is worth the download after all.

In a world where it is near impossible to find an attractive female who likes baseball, I'd say the A's are pretty lucky to have two of them who do it for a living. Jane Lee is also easy on the eyes, right?

This is getting ridiculous. Did you see that chump who gave up the walk off point in the air as if to say, "it's a pop up, there it is, catch it." Then the home run cleared the fence by 50 feet. Ultimate fail. He deserves a shaving cream pie for being a dumb ass.

This is getting ridiculous. The A's have a home record of 25-21 and have 9 walk-off wins. Nearly 20% of all home games this season have ended in a walk-off victory for the A's. 36% of home victories have come by way of a walk-off hit or home run. First it was the pie in the face. Then it was the pie in the face followed with a Gatorade shower. Then it was a pie in the face followed by a Gatorade and ice water bath. Then they changed it up a bit and did a Gatorade/ice water shower followed by a pie in the face. They had better come up with some new material. I'm sure Comcast is hoping that Cespedes will hit the rest of the walk-offs so they don't have to keep replacing water-logged headsets. No one fucks with Cespedes. EDIT: Because he's fucking scary.
