Wainwright has an option year and the Cards already said they were picking it up if I remember correctly....
I think Pujols will stay and then fat Prince goes to the Jays!

I've read that the Cubs might throw money at Pujols, but he'll likely stay in St. Louis.
Fielder is anyone's guess. He, to me, is the most interesting candidate this winter.
Sabathia will opt out and get more money from New York.
Bedard will be interesting, too. A lot of Mariners fans are hoping he'll return next season. We'll see.
The Mets would be crazy to let Reyes go.
I can't see Papelbon leaving Boston.
That's all I've got for now! Valuable commentary.

Agreed with Papelbon staying, he has been a monster this year. Can't imagine the Red Sox letting him leave.

Damn. I went to Fangraphs intending to prove you wrong, but he actually has been good this year. Damn you, Boston!

It's been two whole days since they won a game! PANIC TIME!

Captain Obvious strikes again!!! It's amusing when people start spouting off about things they know little about -except for what they see on the ESPN standings page. A+! Panic time, indeed- Not even two weeks ago the braves had a 9 1/2 game lead in the NL wild card race... As of right now it's 1 1/2 games. Theyve won just 9 of their past 25 games - i think thats cause for concern. Hence my 'buying a win' statement. Yes, they won two days ago - great work there Perry mason. They also have won 4 of their last 10. But once again... 9 wins 16 losses in last 25. for a team that had the 4th best record in all of baseball all season long - my frustration is justified. In before your obligatory 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, here's" literal bag of shit" with another pissy bitch rebuttal.'

So you're saying "If the Braves miss the playoffs, please spend two months rubbing it in"? Got it.

and if you do - you're saying "please tell everybody on the board my first and last name," right? Got it.

I8 has clearly shown he can still hate, in epic fashion. He's proven his hate over and over over the years. Epically epic actually.
Epic.

Wilson (31) Funny how much I've ignored Free Agents for most of my adult life because the A's never sign any of them. Even the free agents they pursue turn down the A's and sign elsewhere for less money. The only Free Agents the A's ever get are the lousy pitchers coming off injuries trying to rebuild their stock in the friendliest park to pitch in. So I'm looking more forward to the winter meetings, when trades happen. C.J. Wilson won't end up in Oakland, that one is guaranteed after he recently bashed the city and their fans. I don't see Pujols leaving St. Louis, and K-Rod will end up in jail. Most of the others I think will say put. Fielder, Ramirez, Thome and Bell are the only ones I feel confident will be moving.

if they're going down - i'm gonna be right there with 'em. Going to all three games this week against the Phillies. come on braves, stop fucking up and let's do this shit! I'd say wish me/us luck - but i know you'd sooner drink a bottle of drano than ever rally alongside me. so all i ask from you is to not be a total fuckhead when the braves inevitably get swept.

i've been too stressed with the NL wildcard to spend much time following the AL wildcard. but yeah, that race has been fucking nuts.
