My Avatar is actually from a children's show on Global TV circa 1984-86. Props to whomever can guess it. Shit. Um Size Small Island? that's right. Creepy dude for sure.

Jesus I think I had nightmares about that fucking Tornado I'm pretty damn positive I did too (seriously). Stormy, I think you just brought back some repressed memories.

And man, for some reason I wanted to be on Double Dare just because that slime for some reason looked delicious to me. I heard through the school yard that Nickelodeon's slime is really sweet and edible. Wanted to eat it so bad. (And no I wasn't a fat kid.)

Shit. Um Size Small Island? that's right. Creepy dude for sure. Totally creepy. Any character in a full costume suit with human legs is just not right.

Especially one that doesn't do anything at all except clap two wooden spoons together.

I was fortunate enough to grow up during the years when Nickelodeon was fucking obsessed with slime. "You Can't Do That on Television"

God bless You Can't Do That On Television. One of the weirdest, sickest, most subversive children's shows of all time.
No fucking clue why this conversation is happening here and not in the TV thread. Oh well.

I was going to say something about You Can't Do That On Television. My mom HATED that show.

Yup, until Beavis and Butthead and then South Park, You Can't Do That On Television was the only show that would get shut off every single time.
One of the few things I appreciate about Canada:

I was going to say something about You Can't Do That On Television. My mom HATED that show. They filmed that in my home town growing up, so at least once I remember they came through our school for auditions. I think I was about 6 at the time, and was thus too young to try out. Coulda made out with Alanis Morrisette inside a colorful locker, but alas, t'was not to be.

Maybe she would have gone down on you in a theater.

I don't think he's Dave Coulier.

I'm surprised there isn't a portion of the population that has a goo fetish as a result of that show. My mom made me a slime cake for my bday one year. So rad.

I have to ask; are you two sometimes in the same room when having these on line semi-conversations? Do you ever share a laptop; i.e. stormy posts something; then hands the computer over to Gramma, who replies? I would definitely get a kick out of that.

Dave Coulier and Alanis are all watching Die Hard in the movie theater and Alanis is all pretending to be Mr. Woodchuck and she's all like "Is it made of... wood?" and then Dave Coulier is all like "Cut... It... Out!"
And she doesn't do.
