That was a totally disappointing set. To have no idea of the amount if time you're taking up and fuck around like that is just horrible showmanship. Wayne has too much ego if he thinks we came to watch him talk. We came to listen to the incredible music your band makes dude.

Man, I must have been so perfectly drunk. I still really enjoyed this. Maybe I just wanted it to be so good, that I just told myself it was good. You guys got me second guessing.

Fucking Modest Mouse. They knew what they had to do to follow Flaming Lips (though I guess that wasn't that hard?). They had to play a bunch of oldies. And they did. And it was beautiful. It's so nice to find out my gut instincts were right.

I did sober up a little during this show, and my friend was plastered drunk talking to people, so that was a bit of a bring down, but I still dont think it would have been amazing even if I was drunk. I was quite unimpressed about the lack of confetti explosions (last time I saw them there was so much more) and I was bummed out when the wind blew all the huge balloons away within the first 5 minutes (though thats not their fault).

I guess I'm just a flaming lips fan and not a Wayne coyne talking fan. The birthday thing sucked too. I walked away wanting to have liked the set, and it had it's transcendent moments but the more I think about it the more pissed I am that in 90 minutes they played eight songs.

As a huge Flaming Lips fan, their set was horribly underwhelming and disappointing. In the time that Wayne took up talking, they could have played at least 3 or 4 more songs. I left feeling angry because they started almost 20 minutes late and weren't allowed to keep going beyond 9:30. I also hyped them up with my friends that hadn't seen them before, and I think they were completely bored after the first couple songs. I'm hoping they redeem themselves with me when I go see them again at the Puyallup Fair

Also, because of the bullshit border at the the front of the main stage, (What the fuck was that there for?) once Wayne got into his bubble, he wasn't able to get very far since everyone in the front area had so much room to move up and it pushed him back.

I was also really amused by the people in the Pink Robot costumes. Especially once I noticed that they wrote "I want to eat Wayne Coyne" in Japanese.

This show totally sucked. I was honestly embarrassed because I had been pumping it up to my group all weekend (none of them had seen them before) and it was such a freaking let down. Race for the Prize was insane and it was all downhill from there. Wayne needs to stop talking.
I can't believe I missed Gayngs for them.

It was just okay for me. Our initial plan was to leave part way through to go see Yeasayer, but we had such a good spot and we were expecting a climax so we stayed for the whole thing. Less talk more rock please.

I thought it was a bit of a let down too. They blew my mind the last time I saw them and I was expecting more of the same this time. Although I did get to touch Wayne Coyne in the giant ball, which was pretty awesome.

I'm really happy that I went to watch Gayngs and they kept me there for most of their set. I ran back to FLIPS to watch the sunset and was disappointed with all the talking as well.
WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU TALK ABOUT ELLIOTT SMITH'S DEATH FOR 10 MINUTES?

Why DID he talk about Elliott Smith's death for 10 minutes? (no really, I'm asking, this isn't a rhetorical question)
Also, after listening to the webcast of Gayngs set, I really need to listen to more of them.
