It was the worst fucking musical ever, "Honk." God, I never hated a show as much as I hated that one.

But at the very least, you had your Chucks!

Yeah... And my girlfriend and my sister played two of my ducklings... Odd? I think so. OH! I also had to wear some for what was the best show I was ever in, an 80's rock musical version of Shakespear's "Love's Labours Lost." Best show ever. I got to sing "Tainted Love," "Hold Me Now," "All Out of Love," and "Don't You (Forget About Me)." Probably the only show I'd ever trot out on tape and watch myself in. Oh, I also got to have a Flock of Seagulls hairdo and wear a legit Member's only jacket. Baller.

Woah, woah, woah. It's not like I lived under a rock for 17 years. I've definitely known about Chucks, I've just never OWNED a pair. That's a very important distinction.

Like a giddy child on Christmas morning, I dashed over to the front office at my apartment complex yesterday to pick up my TOMS. I squealed when I opened the box and saw the carrying case and the free sticker. I couldn't wait to break them in this morning. They're certainly snug--I bought a 6.5 even though I usually wear a 7 size shoe. I can already feel them giving since the canvas material is so stretchy. They're super comfy and something tells me I'll end up buying every one in the TOMS rainbow! I'm a little worried though--are these gonna get stinky? Feet sweat, y'know. I don't want smelly feet/shoes in the next few wears. I guess I shoulda thought about that... Welp, here's my cute feet showing off my shoes in my loverrly cubicle

I'll be wearing my Adidas Sambas for the 2nd year in a row. Seriously the best and longest lasting pair of shoes I've ever owned. so true. my first pair lasted me around 2.5 years, and I'd still wear them in the summer. they saw me though the festival well last year. this year I'd consider something more durable like my pair of dr. martens, but the sambas are always a good choice

That's a bummer. I don't want stinky feet. I suppose they'll have to be worn sparingly this summer.
I've already noticed the no ventilation issue. The shoes aren't smelly (yet) but by the end of the day, they do get kinda sticky on the inside of my shoes.

I'm tempted to give in and get a pair of TOMS this year. I saw some sweet patterned ones. I'm kind of a shoe whore.
Sometimes you just have to say fuck shoes and go barefoot.

Give in. Seriously. These were my first pair and I LOVE them! I'm tempted to buy another pair so I can wear one of them and dirty 'em up at the festival. They're SO comfy and adorable.
I wear them almost every day.

I like pvmtchiic. She started her Sasquatch board life with, "I await touching Wayne's giant space bubble again" and then just sprung into action like a regular poster. That's how you get it done!

She had good words for Bright Eyes too. That wins me over every time.

Don't get too excited though, one wrong move and it could all come crashing down.

Yeah, Bright Eyes love only means you're winning with Switchy. The rest of us are perfectly capable of being honest with ourselves about the fact that they're one of the most unlistenable bands of the last twenty years.
