I've done flip flops in the past. Not sure what I'll do this year. I just love flip flops so much. Maybe this year I'll sport them with socks. I lost one of my flip flops in the pit last year. The walk home to the campground down that path was excruciating, and that dark shade of brown that my foot became didn't wash off completely until days after the festival. Having said that, I love to wear flip flops enough, that I would do it again, and again.

I was nearly two clicks of the mouse away from buying a pair of TOMS online today. And then decided against it when I saw they wanted over $9 for shipping. God, I hate paying for shipping and handling. So lame. This is why I can't do online shopping.
Does that make me sound cheap?

Also, I saw this exact post from this exact username on the Coachella board. What is the deal with that? Do you work for TOMS? Nope - I'm just going to both festivals & responded to both threads at a similar time . Personally I find Toms really comfy. The have proper soles in them with arch support - alot better than other canvas shoes I have tried in the past. Toms were my first thought, but then I'm not exactly sure how to clean them after they (inevitably) get disgustingly dirty..?

I have the army green ones right now and love them! The new patterned ones look fun, but I don't think I'd wear them enough. The green are (like you said) good for not showing dirt and practical for wearing with pretty much anything.

It would be very unlikely for me to plan on wearing the same pair of shoes all weekend. The chacos are certainly getting their time in, too. Especially in the case it rains- living in Oregon has taught me that Toms aren't the best for getting wet.

I actually had a dream about this skirt after checking out the website the other night... weird.

I can't wait to get a pair of TOMS! I'm being cheap, though, and waiting until I can get to a mall to snab a few pairs. Their website wants over $9 for shipping and handling. No way, Jose!

Have you seen them in your mall lately? I know that Macy's used to sell them and they stopped, so my options are deal with shipping or no Toms.

Hmm. Good question, Chaco--I just assumed they carried them at Journey's? Or maybe that's wishful thinking. I know I've seen Sanuks there, so I just assumed TOMS would be there. If not, I suppose I will just have to suck it up and shell out the money for S&H.

I know that none of the Journeys here sells them, they're really riding the wave of exclusivity. Good luck though, shipping is a pain in the ass to deal with so I hope you find them! If it comes to ordering them online, I got my pair a half-size smaller than I usually wear and they stretched after being worn a few times.

BAM! shop.nordstrom.com/c/toms?origin=brandindexYeah, TOMS definitely are all about their exclusivity, but I'm glad to know I can snub a pair at my local pretentious Nordstrom's department store. ...now the new task is to find a Nordstrom's nearby. Damn, I should just cave and pay for S&H! If I do, thanks for the sizing advice!

Ah--looks like Nordstroms offers free shipping too!
I'm totally sticking it to the S&H Man right now!
