A good pair of ’sidewalk surfers’ is absolutely the way to go. Flops will work, but the canvas shoe style is way better for the Gorge. They’re light, very comfy, well vented (so you dont get swamp foot), dry out quick if they get wet, wont give you blisters, but also wont randomly fall off your foot either. And best of all, you dont have to be seen wearing Crocs! www.sanuk.com/mens-sidewalk-surfersDo you have any actual experience with them or are you just copy/pasting from the bonnaroo board? They look damn comfortable.

I always go for Toms (www.toms.com) Stylish, real comfy & you help a kid in need. Can't go too wrong if you ask me! Are these comfortable for a festiva? They look pretty comfy but I fear my feet would get sore faster than my sneakers.

crocks were probably most versatile for rain and heat MAN, sounds good. Too bad for that damn catch... that they're crocks.

yeah, but they saved my feet at bonnaroo 08 so i cant talk bad about them. after walking about 12 miles in one day, got bad blisters, bought crocs there and i was able to walk around pain free. plus when it rained and there was like a foot of water blocking most paths it was nice to not have to ruin other shoes. even things like keens and tevas get pretty smelly after they get soaking wet

Hmmm.... That's the first decent thing I've ever heard about crocs.

Fern Shoes. You can walk on water with these shoes. ( It's an inside joke with my friends and I.....originated on a camping trip in the woods after we ate little pieces of paper with pink elephants on them).

I don't think you need to know the inside joke to appreciate my post. I think the pink elephants explains everything. I think you should get the idea.
