"Something Corporate" generation of bands. Okay guys, I think things are getting a little bit heated in this thread. So let's all pause for a moment and consider that learning how to play "Konstantine" and then playing it for any girl between the ages of 18 and 25 will get your 9 rounded up to infinity.

That song gets and eternal pass in my book. Anyone who was a teenager and dating someone when that song came out has a special place in their heart for it hah.

Tokyo Police Club are very energetic on stage. I saw them shortly after Elephant Shell came out and they were still playing old songs like Cheer It On!, which definitely fits more in the "Strokes" category. The opening to that song was my ringtone for quite a while. "OPERATOR? GET ME THE PRESIDENT OF THE WORLD! THIS IS AN EMERGENCY!" I'd go see them again.

I like the part in that song where they yell "Tokyo Police Club!" Not all bands should be allowed to throw their name into songs like that, but TPC can do it well. As can Rammstein. Anyone else notice that they're touring again? They're playing the Tacoma Dome in May!

Full Disclosure- Fox introduced me to this song (as in mtfox, not the channel- jees, you guys), and I can tell you right now, unequivocally, that this will be the song I dance the hardest to all weekend. Nothing has put the dance bug in me like this since I first heard "Must Be the Moon." My friends also thank you for this gem, fox.
Note: I don't know if dance "the hardest to" is the right term. GROOVE the hardest to. That's it.

Facetious, you have been. Prize no longer offered, is.

Wait, Geno, who do I like? I'll give you a prize too! EDIT: more appropriate than Tera Melos, MGMT, Animal Collective, Of Montreal, The Beatles, Panda Bear, Maps and Atlases, and The Number 12 Looks like You. Am I close? I just pulled these guesses out of my ass.

Yeah, number one was the one I was thinking of, as they are the band I have pimped the most thus far... with seemingly good results. Greens to you, good sire! Man, there might be a lot of owing of greens by the time Memorial day weekend rolls around.
