sorry Geno, I'm not much for Death Metal - no matter how good of a Death Metal band they are.

Its all about Life Metal, baby! Is that just a playful way of referring to Christian "metal" bands?

I'm not sure, that would make sense though. I just saw the words death metal, and life metal popped into my head.

i keep looking at this lineup hoping that there'll be something that will spark my interest and make me say 'fuck it. i'm going' but no matter how many times i look at it, i'm just not inspired. Pretty much dude. If they really draw almost 4 times as many people than Sasquatch does then they REALLY dropped the ball on this lineup. I've accepted that Sasquatch will never really achieve that "wow" factor lineup due to attendance/financial reasons, but when you have a festival the size of Bonnaroo you better deliver some serious OOMPH year after year haha. I don't think they dropped the ball at all. I would do anything to go this year. I love Sasquatch because it's more about the indy rock scene, but Bonnaroo is really all about the grand mix of everything. You saw the lineup from the year I went.. I saw Chris Rock, Metallica, Pearl Jam, BB King, Kanye West, Tegan and Sara, MGMT, Sigur Ros, Willie Nelson, Death Cab for Cutie..... well... you get the point. anyways.. I think the lineup is stellar and I would die to go. But that's what I like about music. Different strokes for different folks! That being said.. my heart belongs to Sasquatch now.

Word on the street is that bonnaroo has already sold out to tier 3. Theyre likely to sell out pretty soon
LCD, Coachella, AND Sasquatch sold out in record time. Bonnaroo seems to be following suit. Are the scampers of the universe conspiring together to screw us over?!

Are the scampers of the universe conspiring together to screw us over?! Will it sell out this year? It's possible but there are barely any tickets available in the first three tiers, so it's a marketing ploy to make you think you need to buy tickets right away. The quicker they get your money, the more they make because it's collecting interest before payment needs to be made to the artists. It's harder than you think to sell 80,000 4 day passes in the middle of nowhere where the elements can kick your ass! That said, with all the stuff going down w/ LCD gate, Coach and S!, you never know. This is going to be my last year at Roo. Can't wait for June!

i think it will sell out. the first 3 tiers are sold out. how many remain for their final tier? who knows. I'd guess somewhere over 30,000. now, it might not sell out as quickly as coachella or sasquatch - but i do think that all tickets could very well be gone by St. Patrick's Day. Which would be crazy, in itself.

Fuck festivals are selling so fucking fast this year. Either people really want to go and tell 10 of their freinds, or something else is going on....let the conspiracy theories begin.
