Very false on the clubs. Actually I think you would like it. No dissrespect. The city may or may not be beautiful, it's still covered in 10 feet of snow. I'll get back to you. I'm not sure where in Edmonton you're from, but it's like 23 degrees downtown and I haven't seen snow in over a month. I'll let this Edmonton bashing slide this time, but I'm a very big Edmonton booster, and I won't have you dragging our city down with false stereotypes.

Why is Edmonton like Detroit and Cleveland, Is there a lot of crime or a large number of un-employed?

they're saying Edmonton sux. Cleveland and Detroit are known to be cold, miserable, and pretty unexciting towns.

Damn, no bueno, He told the summer's are fantastic. He also mentioned Calgary was rad too. Calgary is very rad! I've been here all my life...other than a brief stint in Lethbridge and Regina anyways. There's nowhere else I'd rather live.

I moved from the east coast about four years ago and I can't imagine ever going back. And yes, Edmonton is a dirty hole.

It was fine I suppose. The winter was unbearable. -35 degrees, snowy and windy for about 7 fucking months straight. Nice parks in the summer though. Edmonton's not so bad. I've been there numerous times and I think it's a fairly nice city. Just looks shitty coming in from Calgary because you have to go through the industrial park. But once you get into the city center a bit it's quite nice.
