Just to update, CSS is no longer on the lineup

Now I'm equally as pissed as I was excited earlier. Should have known Sasquatch wouldn't just ADD another decent group. Sucks CSS is off the list but at least they got a great replacement.

Wonder if they're still playing Coachella I wouldn't assume the cancellation would have an affect on Coachella since they're a month and a half apart.

I wanted to make love and listen to death from above I am seriously disappointed right now. This made a shitty rainy Monday way worse.

I wanted to make love and listen to death from above I am seriously disappointed right now. This made a shitty rainy Monday way worse. And what a rainy Monday it was! I biked to and from work in that mess. Got some good usage out of the head-to-toe waterproofs! Personally, I think that the addition of Glitch Mon and subtraction of CSS is a net positive. CSS is alright, but I've always felt I should like them more than I do. Which in turn makes me think I just don't like them that much and that's okay. Sure, I enjoy some of their songs, but I saw them at another festival years ago (before Donkey) and I wasn't that impressed. Honestly, I hadn't given Glitch Mob a listen until today, but I am definitely enjoying them. I'd say they are an exact midpoint between Ratatat and Washed Out. I like them and am not really bothered by CSS dropping out. In short: go Sasquatch!

doesn't affect me, really... i probably wasn't going to see CSS anyway. and i'm fairly certain i won't be seeing Glitch Mob, either.
-EDIT- nothing against either act... it's just that I foresee Robyn, Matt & Kim or Wrong Kid Died playing around the same time Glitch Mob will be - and I'd rather see any of them over Glitch Mob/CSS.

Well, I was just mentioning this because one of the few places Dino Jr. is playing Bug in its entirety is PA.

pennsylvania is a big state... and i'm on the opposite side of it.
i could catch the show in Washington DC (which is only 3 1/2 hours away, opposed to the 6 1/2 hours away Philadelphia is) but i'm not exactly sure i want to add another summer road trip... i've already done the LCD Soundsystem show at MSG and still have a few more shows/festivals left on the docket; adding yet another one really wouldn't be that fair to my wallet, car, or dog.
and as i said before, I'm still looking forward to seeing J Mascis at Sasquatch --- but naturally i'd rather see Dinosaur Jr doing Bug at Sasquatch. Who wouldn't?

Ah I see. Yes I agree I would rather see Dinosaur Jr. I didn't know you lived so far away from Philly.

(i lied a minute ago... it's more like 5 to 5 1/2 hours to Philly... either way, DC's closer. but both are probably a little too far for me.)
