Hey ebay do yourself a favor and don't try shrooms for the first time at a massive festival. Yr gonna want to do a dry run under more controlled circumstances.
It's a $300 weekend, minimum. You don't know how your body is going to react (especially to shrooms, which more than any other substance have the potential to make you miserably fucking ill for many hours).
LOL!! Are you seriously telling people how to take drugs? Gramma is the messiah of mushrooms. Tell me how many chocolates should I eat before Bassnectar.. LOL!! Classic, Gramma has his PHD in stupid drug advice..
We aren't supposed to be talking about drugs anymore, but just as a public service I want to say to newcomers to psychedelics: please disregard squatchcreep. I'm not telling people 'how to take drugs', I'm passing on solid conventional wisdom. Psilocybin is a poison - a really fun poison, but it's still poison. Many people have a violent physical reaction to it, and if you don't know how your body responds to it be advised that there is a 50% chancey chance the chiggity champ of champion chancellors that you'll trip your nuts off and ride a unicorn into the sunset, but there's also a 50% chancey chance the chiggity champ of champion chancellors that you will spend six hours doubled over in pain vomiting your fucking kidneys out.
A bad mushroom trip is one of the worst experiences you can ever have. The physical discomfort is matched by an overpowering emotional and psychological distress. They can also be very good to you, but you just never know until you're there.
I'm not trying to scare anyone; I'm just telling you to be cautious because you will be sad if you don't. Drugs are illegal for a reason; they also don't go away and remain an important part of our culture for a reason. With ALL drugs, you MUST be responsible.
Never, ever forget the wisdom of Bob and David: NEVER TAKE MORE THAN YOU CAN HANDLE, AND ALWAYS KNOW YOUR DEALER.
I have to say - as a sasquatch noob (last year being my first time), Deadmau5 was a definite weekend highlight. I wasn't a huge fan of his music and still am not, but in that live setting with all of the lights it was just so much fun. In the same spirit I think Bassnectar will for sure be a weekend highlight this year.
