I don't understand the appeal of Chet Faker. I just finally gave his music a serious listen, and I can say he has some pretty catchy tracks, but he does have some snoozers. His sound would vibe ok with Disclosure's, so Chet Faker into Disclosure wouldn't be so bad. Be interesting to see how the schedule lines up.

Once I get past the first couple lines of that Prima lineup it really fizzles for me. Those headliners are amazing, probably the best 3 headliners I've ever seen, but I'm not seeing a whole lot else that is crazy exciting. I actually liked last years undercard way more. (yes I am partially justifying going to last year and not this year) For the record, I speak fluent Spanish. I will offer free translation service to anyone going to this. You just need to provide me with a ticket and airfare. For the record they don't speak Spanish in Barcelona.

Gotta get up for work in 5 hours but I can't sleep cause of that Prima lineup. It's all haaaappening. But seriously, let's do either Prima or Prima Porto if the lineup is close enough to that one.

I can pretty much promise Porto won't get Radiohead or LCD. They seem to get the smallest headliner from Barcelona (last year they got Ride and not the Strokes or Black Keys), a few of the subs to be headliners and half of the mid card, with a few new ones thrown in. Last year we got FKA Twigs and Death Cab, both of whom were awesome, and I think Death Cab is boring as tits live generally.

Last night I got drunk and actually started looking into fights to Barcelona. $1800 apiece for airfare alone sobered me up pretty damn quick. That lineup is one more thing that is not getting checked off the bucket list this year.

That lineup is one more thing that is not getting checked off the bucket list this year. Holy crap. I mean, I found $1330 out of Seattle but still. Last year I flew in and out of Barcelona (from Vancouver) for like $1000 Canadian, which was probably around $800 American at the time. (RIP 80 cent dollar). Pretty much all flights I've been looking up have been cheaper this year because of cheap fuel, I don't know how this costs so much.

Not to play devil's advocate but I just got like three different flight deals for around $650 CAD to europe from vancouver emailed to me.

This was on Expedia. All the tickets were 1700-1800 USD, ave I couldn't find a hotel for less than $160/night. Of course, I was a little drunk, so I may have been doing it wrong. And I didn't do much shopping around because I was scared I might wake up in a lot of debt if I kept looking too hard.

Yeah what the fuck? I just looked, same dates.
Seattle -> Barcelona $1330 USD
Vancouver -> Barcelona $910 CAD ($650 USD)
Just drive up here. It's literally half price.

I decided to lay out a few festival lineups to compare what each had to offer. Here are my 4 favourites of 2016(so far), varying in capacity. Bonnaroo:80,000+ Primavera:40,000+ Shaky Knees:30,000+ Sasquatch:20,000+ Edit: capacity info found on various festival websites and/or Wikipedia

Prima is actually much larger than that apparently.
