Look at that Experiences lineup! Seriously though, that would be pretty cool if we could get more of that from Sasquatch. Being at that Gorge is an experience in itself, but I feel like there could be more.

Even though Dead & Company includes John Mayer and lacks a serious amount of Phil Lesh, 2 sets of nostalgia wins Bonnaroo as festival of the season so far for me (so far). Well, that and the fact they landed Pearl Jam, Ween, LCD Soundsystem and The Claypool Lennon Delerium. Jeez, Allen Stone didn't even make it half way up the roo poster.

Anybody here planning on doing Treefort in Boise? :crickets: Well my partner and I are. Its like $200 for 400+ acts in a city that is cheap as shit. Mostly small, relatively unknown bands but they always get a few real good ones. This year Thee Oh Sees are one of the headliners and they gonna be bringing dat double drum kit action straight to yr dome. My spirit animal, Pictureplane, is performing in an effort to recreate the very first time I ever saw him play at the inaugural Treefort in 2012. So fuck yeah to that. Its so small that it is charming. Lot of chances for surprising shows you never would have anticipated. The whole town is involved in it, seeing as it is most definitely the biggest thing that happens there every year. My dudelys, just peep this lineup and tell me that ain't worth $200? treefortmusicfest.com/lineupWe also got a hotel room that weekend that is pretty much within 4 blocks of almost every venue. Lets get weird. Not to shit on this by any means, but man I just realized how bad the Canadian dollar is from this. $200 US = $300 CDN right now. You could literally get pemberton tickets for less than that, though you do have to buy camping on top of that. Any American fest relying on Canadians (Sasquatch probably more than most) is going to take a major beating. I know this has been said before, but realizing that Pemberton is cheaper than a small city fest in Boise kind of put things in perspective.

Lol @ the people on Facebook who were saying they're gong to Lightning in a Bottle because it will be better than Sasquatch, only to find out their headliners are all at Sasquatch too. They do get Moderat and Big Gigantic, but don't get every band with a guitar that will be at Sasquatch.

I do like some of those artists below, especially the techno, but if I was going to make that much of a trip I might as well go to Movement.

I don't understand the appeal of Chet Faker, but aside from him I'd say Sasquatch grabbed the cream of the crop from their headliners. I'm pretty upset that Moderat didn't get picked up by them, but at least seeing them in Seattle means I won't have to worry about their set conflicting with anyone else. Nothing else in that LiB lineup specifically grabs me enough to care about missing it again, especially since a lot of those will be at Shambhala and Symbiosis.

Primavera always kills all the other festivals, but they've even outdone themselves this year. When Brian Wilson is on the third line of your poster, you know you've taken it to a new level.

For the record, I speak fluent Spanish. I will offer free translation service to anyone going to this. You just need to provide me with a ticket and airfare.
