I saw Bouncing Souls on that lineup earlier and thought about your post, but I didn't see NOFX on there until now. Actually, the poster I saw said "Marky Ramone and the Bouncing Souls" which would be fucking awesome to see.
Edit: I think the poster I was looking at was actually for the Chicago one.

I think I'm going to go to Portland with T-Rigs the weekend of Bumbershoot. Oops. What's in Portland during Poopershoot?

My sixteen-year-old self resents NOFX to the ends of the Earth because my dad canceled my Rolling Stone subscription after seeing a full-page ad for Heavy Petting Zoo.

Looks like Slayer will be doing Reign in Blood too. But they've done that before and Slayer died with Jeff Hanneman, in my opinion.

The Offspring - Smash. I could give a fuck about an other album of theirs but I still love that album to this day. A set of them playing Smash might be the only time I would want to go see them.

I couldn't agree more. That album helped make me the man I am today and wrote them a lifetime pass for all the shit they put out after it.

I've never been to Chicago and dammit if that lineup isn't a whole bunch of things I would like to see, many of which I have never seen and never thought I'd get the chance to see.
Same weekend as Rifflandia though... maybe.
Perhaps the less awesome (but has Primus) Colorado one is an option.
Speaking of Rifflandia, who's going? I might grab the $125 pass now before the lineup comes out just so I'm committed.

Was also thinking of grabbing a pass while it's still only $125 but it think that might need to wait a little now - do you know when that deal ends?

Wow. If I put all of the NOFX shows in my life together I have seen them perform all of Punk in Drublic, but you are forgetting the most important: Milo Goes to College. There would be no P in D if M didn't G to C.

No word on how long that will be or how much the price will go up.

FYF Fest in LA has a superb lineup of electronic music alone, not to mention the other genres being pretty solid. And it's only $129 for the two day pass. I'm considering it. It's got Flying Lotus, Darkside, Jamie xx, Caribou, Daphni, Four Tet, Todd Terje, John Talabot, and tons of others. That's like, all of my favorite things. fyffest.com/
