Im thinking that the "legendary" headliner Pemberton might be talking about is Paul McCartney.
We will see.

Didn't Petty and Pearl Jam do a weekend at the Gorge a few years back? Now THAT would be worth a trip down. I don't think Pearl Jam has played the Gorge for quite some time, but I could be wrong. I honestly don't even remember Petty playing the Gorge in the last few years.

Haha Pooch sold out >50000 tickets at stupid prices. Him alone would sell out Pemberton in minutes.

Most of the people that would want to see him aren't going to be interested in the whole festival aspect. It would still sell out though. Doesn't matter anyway 'cause they didn't get him.

Paul McCartney + Ringo / Rolling Stones / Led Zeppelin (with Prince on drums) Oasis Reunion / White Stripes Reunion / Daft Punk
Tickets $1000
The above miiiight justify their P.R. strategy.

I'd pay $1000 to see people throw pies at those brothers.

Also he just played in both Vancouver and Edmonton (twice) and those shows took like 3 years to put together. If it's McCartney, I'll eat a hat.

I'm listening to 99.3 the Fox Vancouver all day (online) to hear the Pemberton lineup, and the guy just mentioned it for the first time in probably 4 or 5 hours and said "we have no new information, but we do know that the organizers will be on with (Random Host name) at 6pm, so we don't know if the announcement will be before then, or at that time".

I would absolutely love to see Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Kanye would be cool but the rest of that is pretty unexciting.

I don't understand this. Where on the waterfront? Last year it was at various venues like it always is, and the main stage is Pioneer Square. musicfestnw.com/ - It's at Waterfront Park this year, and it is only 2 days. Interesting. I had not heard of this. I will be interested to see the lineup and how it plays out. I did love seeing AC in Pioneer Square last year, though, which surprised me but is true.

Pretty good lineup. You guys are sleeping on Tom Petty. That guy fucking rules live. Womp is 100% correct. Petty was my first ever Gorge show. You just don't know how it feels, no you just don't know how it feels to get to the point and roll another joint as he sings that line, muh dudes.

Remember that time I made that clearly exaggerated joke about the "sneak peek" being on Wednesday? Oh how we laughed!! Those were such innocent times.

I'm not putting anything past these assholes at this point. This is even more of a shit show then the first time they ran this festival, AND THAT IS SAYING SOMETHING BECAUSE THAT WAS THE SHIT SHOW TO END ALL SHIT SHOWS.

Well at least Sasquatch has Pemberton this year to snatch back the title of "biggest festival shitshow in the PNW".

Shit show or not, decent line up, I might buy tickets on account that I might have a job in 2 and a half weeks once my background check goes through.
