What is a Superjam and why is it on the lineup like 6 times? I haven't been, but I think it's something like this: They gather a bunch of artists who are similar or just generally well liked, and then they play a long (for a festival, at least) set of music together. It makes for a unique experience you don't get to see anywhere else.

What is a Superjam and why is it on the lineup like 6 times? It's kinda like a regular jam, only super.

Super jam started as a jam between various (not necessarily similar) artists that would play and jam together on stage. Usually it coincided with the Bonnaroo parade. The first year I went the parade had a float and hidden inside were a bunch of musicians who surprised Dr. John. Now apparently there are 6 times more the super jam for whatever the fuck suit decided it would be brilliant now that Bonnaroo is official a corporate she'll of what it once was. Jesus Christ...
Fuck Kanye. I like his music but it is the Anti thesis of the Bonnaroovian code. This is such bullshit. He should never be booked.

You should probably never go to another festival again dude. Because the code.

Really solid lineup, but not nearly enough to get me back to that hellhole.

Pretty weak, almost everything I like I've seen already. The Skrillex Superjam would probably be very interesting if nothing else.
I love that pretty much every other major festival refuses to let Phoenix headline, as if to ask Coachella what the hell they were thinking.

I like the lineup a lot. But yes, most of what I like I've already seen countless times. Still, for my money, it's the best lineup of 2014.

As for the Kanye stuff... I still remember 2008. While I'm still kind of annoyed at how the whole thing went down, I really have no issue with him coming back. The insane level of anger many people have with him being listed as one of this year's headliners (most of which weren't even in attendance in 2008) is laughable. It's time to move on people. VIBEZ, Y'all.
Still, it would be extremely funny if he comes on stage a little late, you know, to fuck with the already riled up bonnaroovians.

Still, for my money, it's the best lineup of 2014. There is no way this is better than Primavera. Or are we talking North America? I am super jealous of the Bouncing Souls though.

Really. And this is coming from someone who really looks for any and every reason NOT to go to Bonnaroo. I'm not trying to say it should be everyone else's favorite lineup, but it is for me.

Bonnaroo seems to always have a couple great metal bands in the mix. Meshuggah and Mastodon are both bands I'd really like to see live again.

Meshuggah is so fucking awesome. I'm actually pissed to see them on a non-metal festival lineup that I won't be attending. Been listening to them for over a decade and I still have yet to see them.

I saw them open for Tool several years ago and with Ministry a few years later. They were awesome both times, but neither venue suited their sound well. The first time was at Key Arena and the second was at the Showbox Sodo, and everyone sounds like shit there. I think it would be crazy to see them in a festival environment.
