At least Squamish gives you the option of not spending that money if you want to make other arrangements.

Squamish's $90 camping price was per car too, so you could jam a bunch of people in that ninety bucks. $90 per person is craze.

I read that they are opening the campground Wednesday, so it is 6 days of camping if you use it all, but it's still pretty spendy.

Tool and Primus together is like the perfect bill. There is so much great musicianship and creativity in those 2 bands. These guys just need to take this idea and run with it. We need a Tool and Primus amphitheater tour.

I speak fluent Spanish. If someone pays for my trip, I'll act as translator.

I don't speak any Spanish, but I love to see music and drink beer, so if someone pays for my trip I'll do those things very, very well. Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure this question has been answered on this board before, but I can't find the answer right now:
If you were recommending one Tool album to someone who has never listened to them before, which album would you recommend?

I'm pretty sure this question has been answered on this board before, but I can't find the answer right now: If you were recommending one Tool album to someone who has never listened to them before, which album would you recommend? All of them. But seriously, you could ask 10 people and get 10 different answers. Well, they don't have 10 albums, but you get the idea... Ænima is probably their most accessible, but Lateralus or 10,000 Days are more representative of their current direction. The Salival EP is incredible if you can find it, but it's mostly live recordings and a couple covers. It helps if you can be 15 and just happen to catch the video for Sober on MTV in the middle of the night, at least that's what worked for me. Edit: on second thought, I say start with 10,000 Days and work your way backwards.

Personally I say Ænima. I fucking love Lateralus and 10,000 Days too though... and Undertow... ya don't ask me.

Ænima.
Basically the opposite of what Professor Pancakes said.

I think the idea that they've been a band for over 20 years and have only put out 4 full length albums testifies to the fact that they don't release garbage just got the sake of getting an album out. Bottom line: every album is near perfection and you really can't go wrong with any of them.

I think the first couple of albums were a lot rawer. With each album you could tell they were spending more time in the studio. They also seemed to get more Progressive with each album. If you like prog rock/metal start later.

Haha only kidding. Quite the contrary, as I even sport a Tool inspired tattoo on my arm.
